Looking for a Driver

I got the Adams a3 for x-mas now I need a driver. I am looking at two. The Adams Insight XTD and the Cleveland Hibore XLS. They come out in Feb. I have only been playing for 3 years. I want something that I can slow my swing down and still get good distance. Which driver should I get or is there a better one for me.

I'm at your handicap, and when I switched to the Cobra F-Speed, 10.5 degrees, R-Flex, with a Mid Kick Point I noticed an immediate improvement.

Is your problem slicing, hooking, or missing? Mine wasn't so much slicing as pushing. Now I concentrate on putting the ball in play, swinging easy, and boy does it travel. If your ball isn't going where you want it to go, consider a low-spin ball.

Driver:  Titleist 915D2.  4-wood:  Titleist 917F2.  Titleist TS2 19 degree hybrid.  Tour Edge Exotics C723 21 degree hybrid.  Irons 5-U, Ping G400.  Wedges negotiable (currently 54 degree Cleveland, 58 degree Titleist) Edel putter.

      Day 35, June 8. Before leaving for work this morning (yes, I'm posting this quite late relative to the practice), I spent 15 minutes practicing at home, into a net.  This time, it was primarily 9-iron (full swings), with some UW (full and half) and a few 6-iron.

      I'm liking this. Finally getting down hands in front of my trail leg pocket consistently at A6 with much better clubhead position (relatively not as tipped out). I can really pressure the shaft through impact with good face control  from this position and stay in balance. Won my first one v one march 5&4 against a 4 hcp who routinely drives it 35-40 yards past me in the men's club match play . Frustrated him with some solid iron play and air tight putting.

      Day 279 6-8  Worked on low point control skills work tonight. will be doing this for a few weeks. Tonight was just trying figure out how to get low point forward.  No ball.
