Interesting new idea. The weighted rubber stand alone golf tee. No tether. No clamp.

I am not quite sure what you mean by

"short rubber tees that hold a wooden/plastic tie"

Do you mean the hybrid tee made for the mat?images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSRU-Rd7Dz-15iHzALL5oO

short little tees that stick through the mat and have a little slot for tee to fit into,

My prototype was a success on the range. It's hard to tell form the photo but that's a standalone rubber tee holding the ball, a donut weight, and some basic twine with slip knots.

It's pretty quick to re-tee.

I do the same think and have that same red swing weight. But I use these:

I bought the claw tee for my indoor hitting area.  It works well.  I like that I can control tee height.  I do not like that the tee flies all over the place.

Interesting  - I've never seen these. What is the advantage of this over the rubber tee?

I use old Taylor Made clubs from eBay and golf shops.

dunno, guess would be lighter and less resistance?  not that it makes a whole lot of difference.

Not much difference.  You don't have to drill a hole in them to tie a string to them.
