I've been Playing Golf for: 6 months

My current handicap index or average score is: N/A but itd probably be insanely high
My typical ball flight is: Slice for driver and push right for irons
The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Slicing my driver

I finally managed to get a decent recording of my drive. This is my second time to ever play in an actual golf course so I still have no idea what my handicap is but I'm sure it's way up there. In terms of my shots, I've made some improvements with my irons and lessened the number of times that I push right. However, throughout the last 18 holes, not one of my drives went straight. I sliced all of them and rarely ever hit the fairway. I've read and watched a lot to try to identify what's wrong but figured it'd be a lot more helpful if I could get your opinions on it. Would really enjoy the game more if I could hit straight. I don't even care about the distance for now.

Thank you!

Videos:

Note: I'm already intentionally aiming left to compensate but it still wasn't enough to hit the fairway.

I'm not sure if the ball path is clear unless you watch it in slow motion so here is a rough idea:

Look at how you finish: on your back foot. You fall backward because nothing ever goes forward.

This topic might be a good start:

Your hands really move away from your body early in the swing.  That is nothing but trouble !

See how far your right hand is from your right thigh ?  If anything a good takeway your hands get closer to your body on the takeaway !

    • Day 87 (27 Jul 25) - Made it an easy session with the wedge this afternoon, worked on staying in the shot and not lifting out - split between low spinners and higher floaters.
    • Shot my new low 72 (par 70) today. Had 5 birdies, also a new best, which included a hole out from the bunker on par 3 6th, and another hole out pitch from 15ish yards on the long par 4, 15th.  Got a couple of other good breaks. Except for an OB drive on 14th (and ensuing double bogey), not much went wrong. All in all I might have used up a year's worth of luck in a single day.
    • Back in the saddle after vacation.  Day 1: played 18. Did not have it, but still battled to an 82. Felt closer to a 90, but that’s fine.
    • Yes, I have seen this from the older crowd that play the 4,700 yard tees and want to know why they get less strokes from there. Always trying to game the system 🤣
    • Day 300 - 2025-07-27 Good 44-ball segment. GSPro was acting goofy, so I just put it on the Quad. Then I hit a bunch of low spinners. Hit 14° down to 9.8° down, with the average closer to 12.3° or so. Focused mostly on the backswing. Right knee good, hands roll up and out a little before laying off (FAR).
