I’ve an Odyssey Sabre-tooth Putter and today the half the metallic insert popped out. As this item was purchased second hand it’s unlikely that Odyssey will repair. And suggestions on how I can repair or replace the insert. I appreciate any comments on this.

Shafting epoxy.

Thanks but not entirely sure how to do this as the metal plate is still partially fixed. If I lever it off I could end up bending it.

Just prised it off. Nothing really holding it on. Hardly surprising it pinged open. I’ll look for shafting epoxy.

Hmm...Is there enough room to get a few drops of super glue behind the insert?  If so; you could apply a bit of Chap-Stick to the visible surface area, glue it, and clamp it.  The Chap-Stick will keep any glue that squeezes out from bonding properly.

Hi, not sure about Chap-Stick but the metal insert is out completely. So the question is what to use to bond it an retain the characteristics.

Yea, contact Callaway. They may want to look at it anyway, who knows.

If you want to go the DIY route, I'm sure you can get away with any epoxy from the hardware store that bonds metal. Shafting epoxy is used on clubs because it has a higher shear strength, but on a putter it's probably not necessary.

Heck if that was my putter, I'd probably just Gorilla glue it on.

I'd use shafting epoxy.  It doesn't become brittle when it cures and can withstand vibration.  Adhesive caulk would work as well.  Any hardware store will have something appropriate.
