Day 2:

Worked on backswing piece. Sticking to that for now so I don’t have multiple swing thiughts/feels during my round.

Day 3:

Played 18 this morning. Solid round, didn't feel like I was hitting the ball great, but kept the ball in good position and kept the big numbers off the scorecard. Ended up with 9 GIR (no birdies) and shot a 78, so can't complain much.

Day 15:  Played 9 from the tips with zero mulligans or do overs.  My score wasn’t great but I missed a lot of easy puts and hit into the water once.  Overall, I’m happy where I’m at 3 months in.

I may not hit the ball far, but at least I find all of the pretty flowers.

Day 25: range for about an hour. Hit 40 balls, just working on making sure my backswing was right. Then went and putted for about 20 minutes, working on putts within 9 feet.

Day 647, August 11, 2024

Played Olympia Fields and then drove home, getting back after midnight. 🙂

Day 648, August 12, 2024

Worked for two hours on the backswing (arched right wrist, cupped left), and then throwing it wide open and behind me.

Erik J. Barzeski —  I knock a ball. It goes in a gopher hole. 🏌🏼‍♂️

Day 102 (12 Aug 24)  -  scoring club work today in the backyard.  Started with the 8i and hard foam balls.  Worked on ball positioning and shot shape to specific target points.  Good session on getting the balls within 20’ diameter circle.  Moved to 50deg Ping Eye2 working on greenside style pitches.  Still love breaking this wedge out from time to time.  Never fails to remind me why these were so lauded in their day.  Good session…

Day 103 (13 Aug 24) -  Played leisurely front 9 at my home course (still CPO (cart path only)) with the Eye2 wedges in lieu of the INDIs.  Had plenty of opportunity to use them, came away missing the better green side control I’ve enjoyed with the INDIs.  Still the turf interaction of the Eye2s is super sweet.  Wound up with a solid 41….

Day 649, August 13, 2024

Played 18 holes while listening to some podcasts (front nine) and some Taylor Swift (back nine). Listening to Blank Space on the 17th did not help me fill in the Blank Space on my birdie list, though I had a good putt at it after a good 3W and a good 9I. Just a tough green to have an easy putt on.

Day 4:

Mirror work on backswing, a bit of indoor putting.

Day 5:

Still working on centered turn piece, with a smidgen of downswing stuff. For now in backswing, I need to feel like lead shoulder is turning on top of front foot.
