Day 13 - 2024-10-13

Not a lot of time, but enough to get some six-iron swings in with the GCQM.

Day 164 (13 Oct 24) -  Worked on low flighted pitches (up to 25yds) with 9i in the backyard.  Focused on setup and different stance positions - open, closed, neutral.

Day 4: 10/13/24

Putting through 50 mm gates. Hit 3 gates over 51 putts. Start line is improving.

Day 88: played 27 holes in a four-club tournament. Then did a stack session. Might have overdone it a bit today - we’ll see if I pay for it tomorrow.

Day 274 - A good amount of putting today. I had a lot of success when paying more attention to my feet alignment.

Slow motion backswings with ProSendr using a 7-iron.

Work outside in the yard while waiting for some yard work to be done… that wouldn't be done. 😛 :sigh:

Day 165 (14 Oct 24) -  Worked with the 58 today (the least used wedge in bag) in making those tight little pitches from 5 - 10 yards out to 25 or so. Started with a putter swing (no flexing of wrists) to give that easy up and down pitch.  Moved to longer shots with minimal wrist action.  Solid session.

Day 89: played 18. Lost it for a 6 hole stretch in the middle but finished the last 4 in -1 to shoot a respectable score.

Day 275 - Played 18 today, and it was ugly. Worst I’ve hit the driver in a while, irons were all over the place, and my short game didn’t help at all. Going to Hawaii in 3 weeks for a golf trip, so need to put some work in before then.

Day 166 (15 Oct 24) - Worked with the 6i into the net today.  Focused on the legs - slight knee bend, keeping pressure on lead foot, getting rotation thru contact.

Day 15 - 2024-10-15

Mirror work. Watched one of my D1 players play today (67, plus -1 on the two holes he played to finish up a second-round 72).

Day 90: mirror work today. Worked on grip and backswing and early downswing stuff.

Day 276 - Trying to focus on some external cues to get a full, wide backswing and a better impact position. The first was easier, but impact is still a struggle.

Day 16 - 2024-10-16

I'm limiting my practice sessions to like 20 minutes. Thumb not anywhere close to 100% in one very weird and specific way.

Day 167 (16 Oct 24) - Backyard fun with the grandson today. Using foam balls and a mix of clubs, we worked on setup and shot planning (over the tree, by swing set, etc).  Call it backyard course management 101.  Always a hoot especially when you’re switching clubs and having to adjust to different ball flights.

Day 277 - Working on moving my arms more down, forcing my hips to rotate more.

Day 91: putted on my mat for a bit. Working on making sure my hands are raised at address and then a good stroke.
