Day 87 (27 Jul 25) - Made it an easy session with the wedge this afternoon, worked on staying in the shot and not lifting out - split between low spinners and higher floaters.  

Ping G400 SFT 10deg  R flex
Ping G410 3w R flex
Ping G400 3h and 4h R flex
Taylormade SLDR 5i thru PW graphite shaft R flex
Cleveland CBX wedges - 50, 54, 58 or 52, 58 (depending on my mood)

Day 301 - 2025-07-28

Watched a lot of golf today at Fox Chapel, but then came home and did some mirror work. Re-dedicated. Which is saying something, as I've been playing okay. But relying on my athleticism to just do "okay."

Day 10: More putting with the metronome. Short putts feel really slow and long putts feel really fast. Getting more comfortable every day.

Day 88 (28 Jul 25) - Short session this afternoon after a full day of yard work at the house.  Worked on setup and tempo thru the shot with the 52° wedge in the backyard.  Hit about 20 balls total - just staying focused on the process.

Day 3: about 20 minutes of putting on the practice green. Focused on putts within 10 feet.

Day 4: about 30 minutes of range time. This was just random practice, not super productive, but hadn't really hit balls besides playing once in the past 2 weeks. Also worked separately on filming some feels to get a better understanding of what I need to be working on.

Day 90 (30 Jul 25) - midweek 9 hole round - started with a birdie followed by several pars add a couple of bogies, a wild dbl and another birdie…for a 2 over 38.  One of my best rounds in terms of shot/club selection with 6/9 GiR - very dialed in today.

Day 303 - 2025-07-30

Practiced downtown before lessons and then played… seven holes (skipped to 12, played to 18). Backswing feel, didn't worry about the downswing.

Day 91 (31 Jul 25) - Easy day of mid-iron swing work. Spent most of the drill focused on tempo and alignment.  Wrapped up the day with some bump and run wedge pitches.

Day 5: range night! Spent about 20 minutes putting, working on a bit of long and short putts. Then spent about an hour at the range. Got a solid session of focused on my priority piece (with filming), and I think I found a feel.

      Question About UK vs. U.S. Course Etiquette

      The term I hear most often is "double teeing" which means the course/club has starting times from both the #1 and #10 tee.  I have encountered this many times and we know if we are the first group off #10, we may well get to #1 and have to wait because there are groups still with tee times yet to tee of #1.  In most instances, where the course/club has a starter, he normally explains this situation.  In this case, the pro advised what you would could/would encounter making the turn to #1.  And, that is exactly what happened.  Probably would have been wise to talk to the pro after playing back 9 and ask when you could go off #1 since apparently that club does not double tee.   Regardless, the outburst towards the other group was uncalled for.  And, I don't blame the member for being upset.  As a member of a private club, you are responsible for the actions of your guest.  I have played many times as a guest in the UK and I am pretty damn sure my host was responsible for my actions while at the club.  I know at the clubs I have belonged to here in the US, that is the way it is.  As a matter of fact, the member may find himself being brought before management and facing possible suspension.  So, I don't blame him for being upset.  However, as the host, he really should have stepped up and put a stop to the OP's actions.  OP makes this statement "I now understand that standards are different on the "private course." But I'll take those lessons to the muni, too."  No, the standards are not different.  You, sir, seem to be just a bit hard headed and belligerent, even if you are college professor...which possibly explains a lot.   JMHO
