"5 Minutes Daily" Practice Challenge

Day 59, June 25.  Played 18 today.  I'll tell a story on the "best shot of the week" thread that makes me think happy thoughts.

Day 6  (26 Jun 26) - Played 18 today in the Friday men's group shootout.  Would love to say it was an awesome round, but it wasn't  - had a tough day with the putter (especially on the front - short putts missing left or right or just short - just could not get a feel for the greens).

Stayed after to do some Skillest lessons and get some practice in.

Day 295 6-26

Low point control with towel again. Getting better but not swinging fast enough tonight.

Day 51 (yesterday was 50, not 59 -- that was a typo).  I didn't have a ton of time today.  I hit a dozen balls with a 6-iron in my practice room.  

Amazingly, after this I did the ShotScope analysis of yesterday's round;  my approach play was at the 5 hcp level.  That's pretty darn good, but unfortunately for my score, some of that came from hitting a few good recovery shots.  But I also hit some really good approach shots that weren't from trouble!

Day 296 6-27

Low point control focus with full swings, hitting balls. Didnt do as well as I wanted, but it wasn't horrible.

Day 7 (27 Jun 26) - Worked with the 56° some in the backyard before the rain hit….focused on tempo using a technique I used with the kids during golf camp where we worked with the phrase “tic - tock” in putting - we adapted the phrase to “tic - chip” to emulate the putting stroke while using an iron or wedge…..later in the day got hit some irons on a local business’s Garmin Sim unit….

Day 52, June 27.  Today was a work day despite being Saturday.  I did find time for a dozen practice balls (the usual).  Wanted to have time for more, especially as I am playing tomorrow.

Day 1: about an hour and a half of practice to prep for a round tomorrow. Worked on long game for about 45 minutes, just seeing where the ball is going while making sure my feels will still be okay. Then finished with short game work, just working from a variety of lies and distances.
