Day 234 (23 Dec 24) - Mystery Monday - what to do today….pretty straight up as I spent time with the 58 and a series of pitches (lower flighted all the way up to high fliers over the tulip tree).  Wrapped up the day going lower ball with the 9i and easy bump and runs.  Again as always the setup was key - case in point, got lazy and casually set up, feet straight and promptly hit a couple of nice heely shots hard right.  Knew it immediately, as next couple I went through the routine and flew the balls promptly too the target point.  Setup - setup - setup…

Day 13: 12/23/2024

A lot more mirror work today. Using my same swing thought. Some slow motion, some full motion, some in between.
Today I made sure I took every swing all the way to the finish.

Day 84 - 2024-12-23

I hit balls for 20 minutes after lessons and after getting down a BodiTrak for resale. Hinge. Path was weirdly consistent today at 1.6° or so ± like 0.8° only.

Day 340 - Pitching needs some work, so I spent most of my time on that today.

Day 235 (24 Dec 24) - Rainy Christmas Eve day - worked on putting stroke by rolling a few on the carpet.  Lagging for distance was goal using a version of the ladder drill - started off by going up - 1st step about 3’ - and then stepping a bit higher with each successive roll.  Then stepping down the ladder with each roll resulting in a bit shorter roll.  A fun drill where pace is key.

Day 85 - 2024-12-24

Practiced for 90 minutes (which probably means I hit about 60 golf balls). No launch monitor, but plenty of aids and feedback.

So Christmas Eve we hosted the family. But I still found some time before and some time after to get some solid mirror work in. Yay!

Day 160: did mirror work for a bit. Working on the same backswing stuff - trying to keep it fairly clean.

Day 236 (25 Dec 24)  - 

Grabbed a few moments to hit a few nip and run 8i’s in between present openings and visits with family.  Nice session again focused on setup and making consistent contact.

Yay, Christmas day. Got some new golf balls today. That's cool.

Immediately pulled them out of the sleeve and got some nice putting work in with them.

Day 16: 12/26/2025

A little more mirror work today. Then out to the garage net. 

The first part of my PPJ swing thought is really starting to stick. The J still takes some focus. Plus, I'm still putting a priority on getting all the way to my finish.

Day 237 (26 Dec 24) - played 18 with niece and her husband at one of the local courses.  We were first out - so we pretty had our own pace of play.  First few holes were a struggle, but the groove started by hole 5.  The green side wedge game kicked in - had several kick in up and down pars.  Best of the day - had my first ever sandie birdie on #9. It’s a neat par three with a pot hole bunker - found it off the tee.  Had about a 22yd shot from the bunker to the flag.  Hit an easy shot out with the 54 that hit softly and gently rolled center cup.  Had several other close wedge shots into others that were close but no hole out.  Was a great day with the green side wedge game - and seeing solid fruit from the drills.
