Day 184 - 2025-04-02

Got some good work in after picking up my new golf wedges. Backswings, pause… and then down without any small pumps.

Day 4 - Worked on my 50% PW swing, dialing in distance and working on solid contact. Then played 18 and on a short par-3 course on GSPro.

Day 185 - 2025-04-03

Had a good 2.5 hour session at Golf Evolution. Kinda glad it was still wet and windy out today as I wouldn't have gotten such a good session in if I played. Got up to 93 MPH (with a pause) on my 6I and 130 MPH ball speed (on a different slightly slower hit, a bit more de-lofted than I'll want eventually).

Day 1 (3 Apr 25) - Restarting the routine after a 4 day quick trip.  Got back in the groove today for some swings of the 6i and driver into the net -‘to just warm the muscles a little.  Wrapped up the day with grandson hitting 20-25 yd pitches in the backyard.  Love watching his swing and also his concept of course management, to hear him say he left himself in a good position to finish (good words from a soon to be 9 yr old)….

Day 257: mirror work for a while watching TV. Checked some grip stuff and tried out some feels for wrist stuff.

Day 5 - Did some finishing work to the simulator setup, so the area was a mess. I got in some partial swings with my SW, focusing on solid, ball-first contact.

Day 2 (4 Apr 25) - played in the weekly men’s group shootout.  Decent day off the tee and most longer approaches.  Wedges from 70-80 out were off, but green side work was good. Overall a fun day with the crew.

Day 3 (5 Apr 25) - long day with setup and rehearsal for band’s church service gig tomorrow.  Got home to hit a very chippy wedges (from about 10ft to out to 40yds or so).  Focus was simple - feel the bounce and quiet hands.
