Has anyone ever hit a set of MP-100s to see what they felt like?
I have a set at home that my dad is "collecting". He would kill me if I hit a ball with them but I'm very tempted...
Aren't they supposed to be like the MP-33s?

They look a lot like the 33's and 37's but I didn't even know they made mp 100's...seems more like a collectors club than a club you would want to play :)

Yup, it's a collector's club. They only made 2006 of them. I remember it said on the Mizuno website: "should anyone wish to devalue these clubs" you could play them. I guess they probably play like the 33s.

You can pick up a set from various places for $850. You can also check a couple of the different Golfsmith's in NYC. They can tape them up and let you hit them.

I'm almost sure that , like most clubs, they are

not going to increase in value. Correct me if im wrong, but, aren't clubs meant to be played with?

Oh right, I forgot about that. I can just tape up the ones I got at home and hit them.

Since only 2006 sets were made, they could increase in value. A couple years from now, selling them on eBay might get some profits. I don't know, my dad was hoping that would be the case.

That's amazing! Dealer cost was at 1000.00, no PUD or discounts applied. They all came sealed in a wooden box, no box, beware!

Last time I saw a set of these they cost 1000 sterling. So 1000 dallars is a good deal as far as I am concerned! As for hitting them I wouldn't dare! They're too beautiful.

Also if it doesn't come in a display case with an authentication certificate, be cautious!

My buddy, who is much better then me hit my mizuno's and wanted set. He wanted blades, and was trying to find the mp33s, which is what I believe the 100s are most similar to. He ended up finding the 100s for about 850 I think, so he picked them up. They come with a case and certificate of authenticity, but he plays with them, and could care less about the case. He says they play better then they look, I know I couldn't hit them with any kind of consistency.
