I'm not sure how I stumbled across it, but it has me a bit intrigued.

Rob Harrand, a former professional baseball player has come up with a program to help increase clubhead speed, distance and overall flexibility.  It does this through use of a foam roller, stretches, swinging a club and a weight lifting program.  It is very cheap and has me looking into it more.  I just wanted to see if anyone else here has tried it.  I tried doing a search on Drive 400 and also by Rob's name and nothing came up.

I know a person can do this on their own, but it is much easier to follow when there is a plan laid out in front of them (for me anyways), and it seems pretty easy to follow.

Any thoughts on this, has anyone done it, know anyone who has done it?

Thanks for the input!

The only swing speed thing I've seen that has results is SuperSpeed. That's why I've linked to it at the bottom of the site.

I have looked into that as well.  I think I might try both.  One for the weight -lifting with a purpose which "could" help with swing speed, but then the SuperSpeed for the benefits of swing speed as well.  I have seen somewhere that you have a code for ordering these.  Mind posting it here, as I believe I will be ordering the bundle with the radar this week.

Thanks @iacas!!

If I use the link at the bottom of the page for the SuperSpeed will that populate your code @iacas or do I have to enter that somewhere else?

Yes, I’ve been using it the last year or so with fantastic results.

Awesome!  I have been doing the workouts (in week 3 currently) as I felt like I wasn't making any gains, even though I go to the gym 5 days a week.  With this program, it gives me a plan, and I have already seen gains.  I think I am going to pair this with the SuperSpeed program and see what happens.  Its worth a shot anyways.

Super speed sticks are part of the training...

I have a complete set of speed sticks as well as a prototype technology that improves upon the Speed sticks.

Glad you’re seeing gains too! I’m doing the complete program for injury protection because I’m getting older.

SuperSpeed sticks aren't part of the Drive 400 program...

Are you doing the Drive 400 program or the SuperSpeed program?  I am doing the Drive 400 program, and then I plan to start doing the SuperSpeed training as well to see what happens when I pair them together.

Both, but Rob heavily endorses Super Speed when you talk to him...

Ok, I see what you mean.  So on the 3 days a week you are to do the swing speed training for the Drive 400 do you instead do the SuperSpeed training?  Or do you do the complete Drive 400 swing speed training and then also do the SuperSpeed training?

Drive 400, because it’s less hard on my body.

His program is design as a “common man” Athlete program. It’s based upon his years of experience as a professional athlete.

He has even let me and my kids use a new technology replacing the Speed Sticks.

Marking this as something I need to read into to determine the time commitment.

You might have to put in my code later on, too. It shouldn't be that way, but the "code" section is blank when you check out… so just add "iacas" there too, if you could, please.
