Bridgestone JS professional weapon irons

Hey everyone.

i was thinking of purchasing a set of iron and found these Bridgestone JS professional weapon irons. Does anyone jave any advice or comments or reviews about them. They re not forged i think but have to set lie at 66*

I can help with that.

There were several versions of the J's irons, but I'm guessing the set you are considering are the cavity back model.  Those are the most common.  They were introduced in 1992 and they are forged.  A very good set of irons.  The lofts will be weaker than most sets currently on the market, but that's ok...I wouldn't suggest making them stronger.  You shouldn't have any issues adjusting the lie angle.  This is from the '92 Bridgestone catalog which has a pic and the specs.  Hope this helps:
