If the place has a range, I warm up.
But, I also go to the range 4-5 times a week.
(I also count my whole practice facility that I go to as the range)

I try and go to the range once a week normally, and when I play I try to hit a bucket of balls before the round as I feel it helps me to warm up my swing or I seem to hook the ball for the first few holes.

I almost never go to the driving range. Theres a park close to my home when I knock around a whiffle golf ball.
As long as Im fairly straight at that, Im happy.
Most of my practice time in spent on chip shots and putting. Its like they say, "drive for show, putt for dough."

I go at least once a week, if at all possible and I also hit some before I start a round just to warm up and stretch some.

Havent gone in quite a while, the nearest one closed down. I would have to drive 20 minutes to get to the nearest range.

I go to the range everyday. Whether its after work or on my lunch break, there is always something that I need to work on. Need to achieve my goals, and I wasn't born with the natural skill so I acquire it.

I only go to the range when I go to the course to loosen up. My In-Law's have a nice yard right up the road so that I can hit up to an 8 iron with a full swing. While I don't get as much practice with the longer clubs, I have gotten pretty sound with pitches from different distances and with the 'scoring' irons.

I mostly go to the range around 3 times a month, or on some occasions, I'll go once a week, all to work and improve on my technique, I'm done hitting the ball recklessly like I used to when I was younger...

    • Day 62: Priority piece work with 7-iron, half swing punch shots.
    • Day 5:  Practiced with my 7i at home then some putting at the range before playing 9 holes.  I really thought I was going to beat my best score by 2 or 3 strokes but I tied it.
    • Buddy… Bolding and capitalizing one word out of over 120 is not yelling. And seriously, be a student of history or something. The U.S. Open often gets harder as it goes on. -5 might end up as the winning score. Plus, there wasn't a ton of wind today. And… these players are pretty good. The "these courses are too easy" takes can just go away. We've had enough with one person's perpetual posts on that topic, we don't need another.
    • First, thanks for capitalizing and using bold print for the word “facts.”    That was helpful.   Second, it must be a “fact” that the score relative to par today had nothing to do with the quality of the entire US Open field vs the quality of the entire Memorial field on day one.   Again, thanks for the text equivalent of yelling.
    • Hell yes! They want their shoes to match their purse…well…our 3W has to match the driver! That’s just standard protocol!
