My wife and I will be taking a cross country trip to Cleona, PA, due to a brother in law's planned open heart surgery. His wife wants her favorite sister to be there.

We will dead head it back there, but on our return trip, we will make it into a a normal vacation road trip. A couple of weeks, or until we run into snow, of sight seeing and golf. Not sure what roads we will be returning on, but I am sure there are more than a few golf courses I have never seen before, that need my green fees.

I have a question; when do the first snows hit the PA area?

PA is a big state wth lots of weather variety.

I’ve played in shorts on Christmas Eve in Erie, and been snowed out in southern PA in early October.

It really depends, as @iacas says. Could be as early as October...or could be golf weather through Christmas.

More importantly: make a stop at Fallingwater. It’s worth it.

Fallingwater? Is this the house Frank Lloyd Wright built on a water fall?
