Along with almost every other team in the league, but the other teams weren't the ones that got caught...you can't say they are the only team doing that, and I don't see why its such a big deal when you can have someone with binoculars in the stands looking at the def. coach writing down notes on what the coach is doing as well...same thing.

And actually, the proper form would be (hopefully) "They WERE the only team doing that." Sure I can. And I think others can as well. No other teams were mentioned in the whole first go-'round with Spygate except as examples of more teams the Pats cheated against (like the Vikings).

I was hoping they would win just so i wouldn't have to see Bob Griese and his hanger on's not popping the champagne. Anyway who really cares, in pro football the owners, players, and fans deserve each other...pro football is an illegal drug injected into the american culture to take the majority of the citizens "eye of the proverbial ball".

I think the Jets were accused to cheating this season as well, but that was overlooked because everyone was fixed on the Patriots ordeal and felt bad for Mangini and his pitiful team.

But then again I haven't heard anything further about Arlen or Walsh or anything, so is that all a dead issue now?

I think Goodell is giving them an altimatum, I believe he offered Walsh immunity if he comes forward with more videos and information, but I'm not sure about Arlen or Bill.

Cheaters..... Im glad they lost the Super Bowl. They got what they deserved. It gave me so much joy to see The Hoodie sporting a sad face in his post game interview... If thats what you want to call a couple of one word answers. The patriots are classless, just like their jerk of a coach. And above all else, they are a bunch of cheaters. Thats all i'll remember. Oh and the fact that Tom Lady stole a record from a quaterback who deserved it WAY more than he does.....

The loss was priceless as was the Giants beautiful defensive performance. I'll remember spygate and the loss. It was a fun game to watch.

The fact that Bellicheat admitted he was aware of the 'cheating' when he took the job in 2000 and it continued speaks volumes about his integrity (or lack thereof). To me, sustained willful violations of the rules that materially affect fair competition is grounds for a banning a'la Pete Rose.

I'll remember them as a very good side with probably the best offensive line ever, one of the best Quartebacks ever, and probably as good a receiving corp as we'll see for while - However they were also supremely arrogant with it.

As the Superbowl proved though, all of this means nothing when you're going up against possibly the best pass rush defence the league has seen for a long time, and against a team that has heart and will in abundance.

I'll remember them as the complete arrogant losers they are. They should have beaten the Giants. Badly. But all the wins over the years have made them soft, and it showed. Giants put on the pressure and the Patriots couldn't respond. But hey, at least I made a bunch of money on the game because all my friends were sucked into the hype.

Are you serious??? It is ILLEGAL to videotape your opponent! It is legal to take still photos, but never video. I just don't see how you are downplaying the Pat's actions? They recorded and studied their opponents play signals! That's like saying before every play, a defensive player telling the team on offense..."our safeties are going to blitz and cb's are in zone, so go deep." If you don't see that as an advantage, then I don't know what else can be considered cheating. We don't and won't ever know how much information the Pat's had on other teams since Goodell decided to destroy the evidence, so that just gives everyone the right to assume the worst.

And I agree, they are loaded with talent; which makes the cheating more disgraceful. You have arguably the best offense in the NFL and a top notch defensive core, yet you still found the need to videotape the defense's signal calling? Don't get me wrong, I understand that EVERY team is trying to get an upperhand on the competition...but the Patriot's were CAUGHT cheating. Are we supposed to overlook it since it's "obvious" everyone is doing it?
