Over the past few years I’ve seen countless reviews for Tour Edge clubs saying they’re “just as good, with better pricing.” Last summer I started gaming a hybrid iron instead of my 4 iron and my accuracy went up and my scores went down surprisingly a lot, since I was able to hit some recovery shots I wouldn’t have been able to otherwise. Naturally I started looking at the newer hybrids and started seeing reviews for the new Tour Edge clubs so I figured, if they’re good why not give them a try?

Except, their newest products are selling for $249.99, the exact same price as the other brands. What happened? I thought they were always the brand that was cheaper but the same quality.

Never purchased or used Tour Edge, I'm sure they are a fine club. However I have always loved the Cobra hybrids and in Dicks Sporting Goods they sell for $150 for last years model to $200 for the latest model, the F9. I would suggest you give them a try and see if you like them.

I am one of those who preached TE products being just as good, but with better pricing. I still think that way on some of their products. I also know some of their products are expensive.

That said, it's been several years since I shopped for clubs. Perhaps TE has new folks in their marketing division and higher prices are their new deal.

I do know when I was buying TE stuff, it depended on where I purchased, as far as saving money. I would use an out of state store instead of my local outlets.

AIl in all, if I were to buy a set of clubs today, the set would be a TE model. I have had too much success with their equipment, and their service after the sale has always been top knotch.

Tour Edge has the Exotics and CBX lines for more serious golfers, the Hot Launch for casual golfers, and boxed sets for both the Hot Launch and Bazooka lines.

The Exotics and CBX tend to bump into the pricing of larger OEMs. In the Exotics EXS line, the driver is $299, the FW $229, and the hybrid $199. Pros who play TE buy their clubs - no promo contracts to raise prices. (The EXS line less expensive than prior Exotics long clubs).

If you wait a release cycle, you can get a much better price - assuming other golfers have traded in the model/loft you want.

For the Exotics line, FWs and hybrids tend to have square faces, less worry about hooks.

I have played Bazooka and Exotics FWs in the past, and now have TE irons (see below). Good solid clubs.

And, TE has a lifetime guarantee for their clubs.
