Hi hello! I have a simple and probably over asked question about blades but I can’t seem to find the answer any where online but has their technology really progressed in the last 10-5-recent years? Like would a 2011 set of mb’s be a disadvantage vs a 2018/19 set?

Not really, though I do like the added bounce on the Callaway Apex MBs:

I don't think much has changed in blades in the past 20 years or possibly longer. You have to go back further than that to see differences in blades, which is mostly head shape and sole grind.

If you go back even further, vintage blades had longer hosels and/or pins in them because the epoxy wasn't as good back then and the mass distribution put the sweet spot slightly towards the heel of the club.
