  1. I am looking forward to demoing this putter. Did you try other models? I like the look of the B60.
  2. I have my own swing. But I like to watch videos or Ernie's and Couples swings. I like Ernie's tempo and over all mechanics. I like to watch Couples swing, through impact. His lag with his writs is amazing to watch in slow motion.
  3. That is a good question. It's not like the 60 has a really low bounce already so it would make sense to offer the c-grind option.
  4. 1-Bring handicap down to 6. (I was able to shave off 3 last year so I figure that I should raise the bar a little) 2-Improve on putting. 3-Get my lower body involved in my swing more. I hope to achieve this by focusing on starting my through swing with my hip turn as opposed to using all arms in my through swing. I also hope that my ball striking is improved with this focus.
  5. Don't worry, I'm done with you. You're boring.
  6. It is one thing to talk and share opinions. It is another thing to post stereo types and post nonsense garbage and pawn it off as opinion. It just shows that you aren't really sorry and that you are angry. I don't get satisfaction out of others misery. Do you?
  7. Look out, another hot sports opinion from Jay_B. Why are you so angry? Between yesterdays "Controversial" BS thread and this off the wall comment, you seem to have a lot of built up anger for some reason. Girlfriend dump you or something?

    Shanks

I have found that when I practice my short game for an extended period of time at the dome, or wherever, that I start to get a little tense in my arms and hands. When I do this, I am not allowing for my wrists to unhinge naturally like they normally do. When that happens, the hozel of the club reaches the ball first, and then I shank it. When that happens, I try to relax my arms, and try to loosen my grip a little, and the shank usually goes away. I have also found that I tend to get tense in my arms and hands when I am in a pressure situation on the course. When this happens, I make sure that I focus on keeping arm loose and my grip not to tight.
  9. I unfortunately have a permanent tee time at a course where the greens have severe slopes to them. The worst part is when the flag is placed right on the edge of one of the slopes. For me, it does take some of the fun out of the round.
  10. I don't know if it was the longest drive I have ever seen but it was the longest that I have seen under a little pressure...Back in the day, my dad would play in the Western Open (now the BMW championship) pro-am, the Wednesday before the tournament started. There was a long drive hole for the armatures that was a slight dog leg right and slight up hill. My dad hit it 325 yards and won the contest.

    Got HDTV?

Redi has to agree with lost ball. Now that I have HD, I don't know how I lived with out it
  12. If I could afford it, I would be a "new ball snob". But, I can't, so if it's round, I'll play it.
  13. 9.5 now, but I am thinking of going back to a 10.5.
  14. The golf digest "tip of the day" gives a drill for this. http://www.golfdigest.com/instruction/tip/tip_20080114
  15. I would guess that everyone's routine will be different based on what they are trying to improve on. I am really focusing on my distances for my wedges, developing more feel with my putter and for my regular shots, I am trying to improve on shaping shots, hitting draws and fads as well as higher and lower trajectories. I usually practice three days a week and the drills I work on will focus on one thing each day. For instance, Mondays, I work on lag putting and the ladder drill. Wednesday, I will work on distances with my sand wedge, 30-80 yards. Fridays, I will use my irons and woods and try to work on shaping shots.
  16. When I start pulling my wedge shots, I make sure that I am pivoting my hips. When I pull my wedge shot, I am using all upper body and than I come over the top. If I think about clearing my left hip, it usually straightens me out.
  17. When do you guy's come up with your stats, during or after the round? I have never kept close track of these stats but I would like to. I just don't want to think about it to much during my round.
  18. That just made her a little hotter in my book
  19. I hope he does well.
  20. I voted "yes" since it looks like this is the rule. I also vote "yes" that this is the dumbest rule in golf. If the ball moves because of a 30 mile an hour wind, why should you be penalized? Who cares if you have addressed the ball or not.
  21. I voted for "Too Expensive" but I think "Slow Play" is a close second.
  22. I voted "yes" because I like most of what he says. I think calling him a genius is a stretch. While I haven't read "Short Game Bible", I have seen many videos so I get the concept of the image of a clock when swinging weges. I spent last year practicing it and I really like it. I have read most of the "Putting Bible" and I learned a lot from it. I strongly disagree with his reasoning of why the square-to-square putting stroke is better. He basically say's that we should putt this way because this is the way a robot putts. I think that is ridiculous.
  23. Has anyone read both Stan Utley's book as well as Dave Pelz's? How do they compare? Is one better than the other? I would guess Dave Pelz's books sell more as he is a bigger name.
  24. How do you know if you have to much bounce?
  25. I currently have a 46-52-56. I was thinking of switching to 54-58 but I guess it would make more sense to go 52-58 as there would be a 6 degree spread between wedges. Is this a bad thing? It is my goal to be able to walk up to the ball at yardages over 30 yrds and say, this is the distance, this is the club.
