Although fun to watch on a winter night, I don't think the simulation is anywhere near accurate. Watched Kevin Kisner hit a shot onto a green slope that would not roll back. When they got to that spot, they couldn't place a ball there without it rolling down the hill. Had to move to another location. The greens remind me of the pooltable-like surface of a Mini Golf course. Balls just take off and roll away. Chipping from off the green seems tricky on the surface they use. And what's with Tiger spitting during the round? It's an indoor carpet. Don't know why atheletes need to spit outdoors, let alone on an indoor carpet surface.

Saw that logo on Charlie Woods' hat a few weeks ago and wondered what it was. Now I know!

I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that go to the expense of replacing their grips, when only a good cleaning will extend their life. Can make a very noticeable difference, depending on the grip material.

Rahm should have played pickelball against Koepka for the win. Heck, they were both wearing shorts already...😆

The only guy I've ever heard admitting that he went to LIV for the money was Harold Varner II (remember him?). Just about all the others were told to say they were "building the game" or some other nonsense like that. After a couple of seasons of LIV golf, I've yet to see any "building" taking place. Just a traveling entertainment show for a crowd that likes to drink and party on a golf course.

LIV is the place where golf careers go to die. Early retirement for a fat paycheck. Bryson DeChambeau is the only guy that seems to have made it work for him. Plays well in the majors and has a big YouTube following. I don't think he has any regrets, but I'm sure he would be happy to play more PGAT events if he could.

Will he pay his caddy overtime? I doubt it. 😛

Hard to get much loft from an average lie since the ball will likely be contacted low on the clubface. But you can always try to take a small divot.😮

Likely to end up being the most-watched YouTube golf match of all time. Yes, the putting stroke of DT has a strange follow thru, but he did make his fair share of putts with it.

The Brits like to think there is only one Open, so they use the term THE OPEN. Still is and will always be The British Open to me. No different than the US Open, Canadian Open, etc. Calling it THE OPEN implies a sense of snobbery to me.

You have to wonder what Payne Stewart might have done if the Saudis put a $125MM check in front of him. As quoted above, he "certainly liked his money". We will never know.

I've noticed that Rory answers every question by beginning with "Yeah".

His recognition factor may be even lower if he has to play in that orange jumpsuit. May be mistaken for Rickie Fowler.😉

Can you imagine what the press would do to Ben Hogan if he was playing in his prime today? Cold and aloof. But I would love to watch him play!

That's what they make DVR's for. My finger was sore from hitting the FF button. Slow play, so they manage to fill the space with commercials, replays, and statistical profiles. On another note, I seemed to notice that all the "makeable" putts on Sunday missed on the low side. Greens were slippery and fast, but nobody managed to read enough break.

I can imagine what Mitchell and Power felt like, crawling down the 18th fairway to finish after the tournament was over. Made a "who cares" birdie, though. -
During his absence, the media managed to impart a Ben Hogan mystique to AK. You would have thought he would have put in a bit more practice before showing up to play again. Perhaps his disability insurance checks were beginning to run out, and he needed the money. Wonder how much LIV paid for him just to show up and get paid for the appearance?

I can imagine the pressure that will be on that kid, being the son of Tiger Woods. Anything he does in golf will be compared to his dad, and he will know it every time he tees it up. Many years ago, I went up to my local public course in CT to play 9 holes on a Sunday afternoon. The starter told me to play with the three guys on the first tee, one of whom was Jack Nicklaus II (yes, Jack's son). He was going to try to qualify for the Hogan (Nike?) Tour event at Yale GC the next day. He a said that at his age (then about 29) his dad had already won about 6 majors. He was there to see if there was a possibility he could play tour golf. I actually gave him some advice on where to "bail out" on a few holes! The following day, he shot I think an 83 in the qualifying round and went home. Mostly known today as his dad's caddy and designer of several "Jack Nicklaus II" golf courses. Nice guy, but you could sense the weight of his dad's legacy on his shoulders. -

Daniel Berger. A few years ago, he was injured before a tournament (Memorial, I think) and knew he could not play. But instead of WD and letting an alternative in, he went to the first tee, hit an iron, and WD just to get a check. Pretty shallow IMO. He wasn't exactly starving at that point in his career. -
Even with Rahm, LIV golf is still an unwatchable train wreck on TV. I don't think he will increase their viewership.

Inflated arena. Can't wait for the first pro to factor in the wind conditions.🤪

It's a mark for the shank warning zone. Just don't hit it there.🤪

Videos like these are scripted in an attempt to make the performers TikTok heroes. This was likely filmed for a purpose. Hopefully this clip is used as evidence to make the kid pay.

Easy to watch golf on TV for me. It's called a DVR with my finger on the FF button. And my recordings on YouTube TV offer the option of just watching "key plays" automatically.
