par 72 rate 72.5 slope 135 Once again another 79, front 39 back 40. Had 2 doubles on front but were able to fix most of it with birdies on following holes. I'm still struggling with a lot of mechanics issues with my swing right now but I'm hitting good shots that are way better than my previous good shots like lipping out from 150 or nearly destroying the cup from 185 on another hole, I think next year is going to be very interesting if I can get as much golf time as I did this past summer.

I play alongside scratch and even up to +5 players from time to time at my home course. One thing I can say about scratch and plus handicap players is they rarely let a bogey or even a double bogey faze them during a round and this is because they know they have the ability to recover those lost shots very quickly with a streak of 3 or 4 birdies in a row and this in turn reinforces mental toughness. Being at 4.7 has been an uphill climb since starting at 8.7 this past april and I feel very limited out right now on covering my index at this time but I know I can do it just the same, birdies don't come in bunches for me like the aforementioned, more like 1 to 3 a round is about the average and sometimes none at all, I just don't have doubles very often maybe 1 a round.

I heard x20's are the most forgiving, Adams os are worth a look also imo.

I would rather see kids sneaking on golf courses playing golf rather than a lot of other things kids do, before the first tee this may have been the only way kids were able to get on golf courses.

Why would anyone want to "hit" their irons? Sounds like it would hurt your hand. I would rather swing my irons correctly and that usually requires some help from a good teacher. Get some lessons...... why bother asking people over the internet unless you just want to vent.

This was my goal for this year, I started at an 8.7 in april and it looks like I'm gonna wind up 4 strokes better, next year I would like to get below 3.

I almost feel like I have a vanity cap because I try so damn hard, I was just grinding like hell to finish at 79 yesterday but also feel if I don't treat normal rounds that way then how will I be prepared for actual tournament play?

The position of the feet scream "over the top". Oh well let the guy dream, there is however no way possible a swing like that can work on uneven lies just can't.

Unless there are white stakes marking a OB line between the fairways then no. Also check the scorecard from this course for any local rules.

Par 72 rate 72.6 slope 135 Shot a 77 for my first full 18 since taking a lesson and going through a significant swing change 3 weeks ago. I think this time next year if all goes well I'll be down to a 2 or 3.

I use the srixon z star, durability is a big plus, I put a good amount of spin on full shots and a titleist just backs up too much z stars are just right.

I play KBS also but on Adams cb2's. I think I know what your feeling as well and it's just a resonating shudder up through the shaft but I also don't think it's anything to worry about. Q stars fly straight and hold greens okay, for players trying to push into 5 or below index territory this probably isn't the best all around ball but could still probably perform well enough.

Why don't you just get a new shaft and move on, I have heard multiple times that proper shaft matching can be the most beneficial thing when building a driver.
