Its always 1 or 2 holes that mess up my round. last time out I shot 39 on the front side made the turn. I shot par on the 10th then hit 2 balls O.B. I ended up with a 10 on the 11th hole. Thinking what an ass I am, it was time to relax and just let it fly..I proceeded to make birdie on the next 4 holes and par out. I truly thought the round was over. If only I could get rid of the 1 or 2 bad swings in a round it would put me over the hump!

I haven't even held a hybrid! For some reason if I see one in the golf shop, I just shake my head and move on. You will never see me with a hybrid in my bag unless someone is paying me to carry it!

yes...I took her out and that was it, for 3 years I couldn't go without her. then, it was like I stabbed her in the heart when I wanted to play with my buddy's. Now I get the (whining vice) "When do you ever think you will take me golfing again"? I say "soon". Then its the "your just going to golf and come home and take a nap". I say "so what". She says "when are you going to spend time with me"? I say "I'm going hunting next weekend, do you want to go"? She always says "NO"!

HAHAHA...I hear that!!! I tried to find it in the local paper to no avail. was a big story around here for a few days.

I never in my life would throw a club!! its dangerous! A guy in Canada got pissed at a bad shot...took a swipe at a tree, broke the head off the club...killed his best friend that was standing 10 yards away. do you think he still plays the game? Closer to home a 17 year old hits a bad tee shot...slams his iron into a bench and breaks it...shaft with head on it spins back and impales him in the heart...the kid dies on the spot! I dont think any bad shot is worth all that. call yourself a name and move on!

I love my MacGregor V-FOIL wedges, 56 and 60. pros...can stop/spin the ball on a dime...cons, the ball stops/spins on a dime! If I need the ball to run a bit I use my trusty old trashed abused 56 Vokey.

Sry I couldn't help! I know what its like having a bunch of guys telling you what to do or not to do to fix your swing. The thing that works for me is to forget all the tips you read or people tell you! Hit the range with a few clubs, clear your mind of any advice (good or bad) and go back to basics, hit the friggen ball until you hit it the way you want and know you can! You know what your good swing feels like. Its just a matter of finding it. So don't get frustrated. Start with half swings and work your way up It once took me a few hundred balls+ to work out a driver issue. But I wasn't going to stop until I had it worked out. When I'm hitting it best, the only thing I'm thinking about is good contact with the ball. I forget the rest! If I start thinking about my hands, my arms...anything, I'm gonna start to suck real bad. Are you bending your left elbow at the top of your swing? when I try to get a little more on the ball I tend to do that. some times you can get away with it, but most of the time it will end in a bad swing. Start your downswing with your hips, left arm straight as you can and keep it like that thru the swing! Stay within yourself (don't swing so hard) and you will be fine! Thats what works for me.

For years I used a Wilson Fatshaft blade, was off and on with it. switched to a Ping G2i and now I'm pretty much on! Reading the green correctly is the issue.

I walk and carry. For some reason my concentration level is much higher. Not sure about a 3 and a half pound bag...mine weighs 26lbs with clubs and no balls.

best loft for me was 7.5 Callaway Hawkeye Titanium. If I needed carry, I'd tee it up, need a cut shot, tee it low. Normal tee ball...tee it in the middle. That may sound crazy, but it worked for me. Now I use a Callaway FT-3 9 degree neutral. I cant seem to work it the way I used to.

I play a Callaway FT-3 9* with a Aldila NVS 55-S shaft. At times I have issues, but when I hit it on the screws, all I can say is WOW! I do wish I had my Callaway Hawkeye titanium 7.5 back! I traded it for a Walter Hagen 460h that lasted about 4 months. I'm not sure what it was, just out of the blue I couldn't hit it over 160 yards. I had the pro hit it, he managed to hit one about 175 yards...it was funny to see the look on his face. The shaft looked good, couldn't find any cracks, no rattles...clueless as to what it was.

Graphite irons killed my game! I'm sure the technology is better then when I used them. (8 years ago) When I went back to steel, I went back to playing golf! Still to this day, I dont know what it was. I will say, I love graghite shafted drivers!

I play at a public course most of the time. It seems last summer was the summer of confrontation. Mainly from the rangers. I'm a fast player and I don't take a practice swing most of the time. I only have so many swings in the bag (ruptured disc in my neck) beside chipping and putting or an odd lie I never take a practice swing. One of my favorite places to play all of the sudden put clocks out on every 3 holes. So we get out on the third hole..on time, I have my ball teed up and we are waiting for the group in front of us to hit into the green and the ranger comes up and says "come on guys, what are you waiting for...hit" I'm thinking "what the hell" I said "we cant, the group in front of us is right there" they where about 260 to 270 out. Ranger shakes his head and says an expletive and drives off. We all started laughing and wondered what his problem was. Two holes later, we are about ten minutes behind now. I'm standing at my ball 120 yards out, I have my wedge in my hand and I'm waiting for the green to clear and the ranger pulls up about 10 or 12 feet behind me and parks..I turn around and look at him, he didn't say anything, I look back at the green. One guy is putting the flag in, they start walking off and the ranger says "go ahead" That was it...I blew my top! The first thing I said was "what the &*@# is your problem"? then it was "your out of your mind if you think I'm going to hit with people on the green"! I told him he was HARRASING the wrong group! needless to say we didn't see him the rest of the day. It took me about a hole and a half to calm down. Talk about spoiling your fun! For $46.00 to walk and the harassment, I won't be back.

I always wanted a tattoo and was never sure what to get. I love golf and started thinking about how I feel when I play...my tattoo is a reflection of that. Never up, never in!
