  1. Im kind of in the same boat... but I'm pulling the trigger on the home range. With a wife and 3 kids I can't get to the range as often as I want... but can always go outside for 15 min.
  2. My favorites would be either the "Bubba-esque" short iron hook shot or the punch fade... exact opposite from geauxforbroke ... Can't hit a trap draw for the life of me.
  3. Poking around in Dicks the other day and the new Nickent 3 woods are sharp looking. No idea how they hit but they sure do look mean lol.
  4. All manufacturers promise pure power. If you find one that delivers... let me know lol.
  5. Try to get as much water out of it as possible and then hit it with an air compressor to take care of the rest. Afterwards just let evaporation take care of the rest.
  6. Roga... If you ain't cav... Lol anyways... Revolver is neat but I'd read some reviews. It seems like people either love it or hate it.
  7. If you youtube it, she has a comparrison of Hooters Mini Tour guys that gained CHS and BS from switching to the system. Granted, I can put up a youtube video showing how leaving the club head cover on makes the face hotter lol... ahh the beauties of the internet.
  8. 35" 330 Mallet Putter. Been eye balling it for a while now.
  9. Price is OBO.
  10. Skymall has one... From driver to putter lol. Agreed on the Adams looking nicer.
  11. I was in the same boat... Wasn't hotting my SGIs poorly but didn't the look and feel of them. I ended up with the W/S Ci9 irons and love them. More workable than I need (but was thinking long run) and I only payed 250 for 4-G. My only complaint is the stock grips.
  12. Agreed.
  13. Lol Dave... I'm absolutely horid at golf but can still manage to get my Gamers to check up... Except when I'm 40 yrds out and skull it 30 yards past at about 3" off the deck.
  14. awesome first post lol...
  15. 2 dz Gamer V2s and some club tubes... Getting tired of fighting wit h my taylormade 7 way to get my clubs in thier spot.
  16. You setup your bag and pick your club. If playing a course it will auto select based on the yardages you put in. I had one for a little while and it was decent on irons but it cant tell the difference between fat and thin shots. It was fun though, but just not for me. Like said before I just couldn't get into it. Maybe if I had a projector and screen...
  17. Nice man... don't forget the hat lol.
  18. Personnally I lost about 10 yrds... But it fits better.... Closer gap to my 3h. I used to hit my 3h further than my 5w.
  19. Smartphone... More specifically golf shot... Adding up all those snowmen can get a littke tricky lol.
  20. +1 to the Gamers... You can get the cheaeper online... I know I restocked when Dick's had them for $30 per 2 dozen.
  21. Huge Gamer fan... Fits in the budget and preforms well. I never have a problem with them checking up on approach shots.
  22. Agreed... have the same driver. What I did was put a Aldila NV stiff shaft in it. The OEM shaft in the Burner is pretty whippy as it is, and with your swing speed it doesn't suprise me that you're snap hooking it. The OEM shaft is 46.5 inches so I had the Aldila put in at 46" since it's slightly heavier and put a heavier grip in it (Golf Pride VDR which is a heavier grip than stock). Those changes put the swing weight from stock D9 to D7. Even though I lost 2 points and put a heavier grip on it, the club feels a little heavier towards the head. That might be just mental, but I like it a lot and I can seem to tell where the club head is during my swing better. I did take a gamble though, by not getting fitted for a shaft. I just picked one off the shelf and had the guy through it in. If I had the money, I would have gotten fitted; however, 50 bucks for a fitting and 80 bucks for the shaft, grip, and installation was too much for a club that I bought for $150. I got lucky, but worst case I would have just sold the club on CL or something and bought another one if it didn't work out. Hope this helps.
  23. A single club will not fix your slice... true too weak of a flex in a shaft can cause a wider dispersion of your shots, but usually to weak of a flex will cause a snap hook. Slicing the ball is caused by swing path, coming accross the ball from outside to in, therefore imparting a clockwise spin onto the ball causing it to peel off to the right (if you're a righty). With that said, some drivers are easier to hit... either due to a larger face/impact area or simply more confidence when looking down at it. Also, some drivers just go further due to materials being used, weight, etc., etc. Given your swing speed (there are other contributing factors) you should be fine hitting a driver with a regular flex shaft. Best bet to fix your slice (I know it helped me) is to video tape yourself and see what you're doing wrong with your swing and if you can afford it go take a lesson or two.
  24. Up for sale is a LEFT HANDED Taylormade R9 (vanilla variety) Driver in 10.5 loft and the stock Motore shaft in stiff flex. This is a result of a late night ebay bid via my cell phone without realizing that the club face was pointing the wrong way... Just trying to sell it for what I have in it. Price is 75 dollars shipped or we can work out something if you're local. It comes with head cover but no tool. It's in it's factory configuration and standard lenght and lie. Here's a condition breakdown: Head: No pop up marks / paint chips on the crown No gouges or deep scratches on sole No dents Face and sole do show normal wear Face: Groves are in good shape a few ball marks Shaft: No cracks No bag rubs Grip: Still has some tack to it. Depending on how much you play you may be able to get a season out of it. Head Cover: Used and slightly faded No rips or tears Overall: I would say 8 out of 10, use for a season or two but well taken care of
