You guys living in the US should be grateful, here in Sweden everything is much much more expensive. But I've seen over the last 1-2 years the price on Drivers has decreased, not sure about the irons though.

Early morning for sure, the temperature is perfect and almost never any wind at that time.

I've heard there's a difference between the moistness and that occurs difference in the air that would also affect the balls distance. I don't know how much it would affect, but surely not very much.

10,5-9,5 on my drivers so far. The one I currently is using is 9,5 Ping G5.

You should buy the easy cheap stuff in the beginning. Almost always they are more forgiving. Don't buy anything expensive, in case you shouldn't like it you can always return it, but still. The easy, cheap stuff is far enough =)

I can assure you it's the by far most popular sport.

Since I have a real shitty GIR I prefer chipping/putting. I have an average of like 6/7 GIR's per round, which isn't good at all. Despite that I manage to walk around par for the most of the times. Not to brag to much, but I am quite a good player around the green.

With good conditions, and with that I mean weather etc, I think I have an average carry of about 250-275+ yards.

The best course I have played in Sweden is probably Åtvidabergs Golfclub. Haven't been to USA yet, so haven't played any US-ish golfclubs, but some day I will! :D

Dude, the winters suck bigtime. First of all there are only like 7-8 hours of "golfing light" and second of it is snow like 3-4 months a year. Therefore the golfing season is like tops 8 months. And then 8 months is a good year, if it's an unfortunate year it's about 6 months golf playing. :(

Oh damn, I have played over 50 courses here in Sweden. I am gonna try to list them tomorrov morning ;) Also played some in Portugal, France and Thailand.

My best shot was 120 metre pitching wedge on a par 5 hole. The ball landed directly in the hole! Easy Eagle ;) The most amazing thing I've heard was an quite old player about 60 years old. He played a par 3 hole, shot the ball quite off the course. they searched everywhere for the ball, then someone of the three players just shouted "hey guys, let's check the hole". they walked to the hole and realised it was a hole in one, amazingly it had somehow bumped on a stone, tree or something else quite hard and then into the hole.

No, we can play approximately 19-10 hours a day during mid-summer. Hehe, the bogey free rounds are cool. Never experienced one though. My father, former pro at Eksjö Golfclub made a round with 18 straight pars. I find that quite amazing. I once had a round with 7 birdies, 2 doubles, 3 bogeys and 6 pars.

1. Good night sleep 2. Healthy food 3. Not experiment with your swing. I mean, it's not good changing our swing hours before a tournament that will only be confusing for yourself. During the tournament you should eat energy bars/bananas or chocolate. Also drink a lot of water.

Just remembered I had a -2 on Norrköpings Golfclub as well.

Best shot last week was a spoon from 230 metre. I had 230 left to the pin, I took my spoon and prepared, swinged and the ball landed about 2 inches from the pin. That was my 2nd shot on a par 5 hole so it was an easy Eagle :D (first this year btw)

I haven't noticed any top players (below 0,0 hcp) yet. Are there some kind of list on this site? I am from Sweden so I am also curious if there are some users from Sweden in this fora! G'day
