  1. Ya I do, I don't wear it all the time but do every 3rd or 4rth time out. Have to say that red has always been my favorite color.
  2. I always thought that the pin was not suppose to be on a slope, only on the flat areas of the green, but if that means right at the top or right at the bottom of the slope then that's ok. But what the hell do I know?
  3. I still dont get it...A trashie is when you hit your ball into the garbage bin?
  4. I dont think it is the bad play that effects me but the slow play it creates that effects me. Waiting around to shoot and whatnot sucks and screws up my flow.
  5. Good info, had my ball resting on aslope on a green in it's own ball mark, so had a tuff time to get it to stay if i repaired the mark.
  6. fix it, you obviously have a swing flaw that gets worse with more swing speed, my guess is an outside in swing path the harder you swing the harder is is to stop it. amongst other things.
  7. I would say just try to hit a nice straight ball. Why add more complication to your game by trying to draw and fade and all that stuff right now. Straight is good.
  8. Take an extra minute to walk around the cup to read the green from both sides, that can change what your seeing. And use the big muscles to swing the putter a nice pendulum stroke, don't use your arms. and there ya go, you should be only putting about 26 times a round now... ya right
  9. 240 depending. I hit a high ball with not much roll on landing if any.
  10. the panties of the drink cart girls. hehe oh ya...
  11. Idiots, Environ"metal"ists only want a cause to fight and complain about. I do think there are some things that should change like pollution and such but to say golf courses are bad, geesh get a life. Use the 1 iron, it's the only thing it's good for anyways
  12. WOW what a "debate". But what ever anyone says there is no possible way for the ball to be compressed down against the turf and still get hit up in the air. The only way to get it to "compress into the ground is to hit it with a club that the face has no loft or a downfacing loft period. And in that case the ball wouldnt go anywhere. The wording used to trap the ball against the ground only gives the golfer an indication of how to hit the ball correctly and to stop trying to scoop the ball to get it into the air. Debate ended
  13. for me it depends on the conditon of the tee box, if they are in great shape and it is a short par 3 100 - 140 yards maybe no tee. but on a long one like 200 yarder ya more than likely will tee it up a bit. but if the ball wont sit nice then i will use a tee so it sits nice for me to spank it.

    Eagles!?!?!

Had 2 this week. hopefully will get more this year when it counts the most. Last year I had a couple. Before that I only played maybe 5 times a year so was lucky if I had a par let alone a birdie or eagle..
  15. I am thining the same thing as the other guys, for whatever reason you have increased the loft of the face of the clubs by scooping the ball, or whatever. check your ball isnt too far forward in your stance, or the shaft isnt angled forward at contact. these two things may be causing the loos of distance in your irons? just something to try
  16. I thin mine isnt a club or a type of shot but my consistently, like today after 5 holes was 2 under, by end of nine was +1 and by the end of the round was +12!! Just cant manage to keep the good shots going. Really starting to get frustrating.
  17. Now that's a sandbagger
  18. well ya but it was with the adjusted score with my handicap that did it. With the adjusted score I shot a 65.
  19. I have to asgree to a certain extent. I was a level 3 ski instructor and it is always a good idea to give the person a good picture to try to emulate. Which inturn gives them a feeling of what they should be doing. I learn any sport from watching and trying to mimic the look which can steer me in the right direction of a certain feeling in the swing or grip or whatever, and golf has been no different.
  20. That is possible, I was a 11.5 handicap when I shot my best round ever in a tourny 77 to place second. Best time to do it, not like you can plan when to shoot well or when not to...
  21. Just my .02 but one of the most important things to remember for a consistant swing is to try to have a consistant setup. Same stance, same balance, same ball position, and same hand position. If those arent consistant with every swing then, things will be out of wack and you will shank or pull or slice and all the bad stuff. Especially for me when i get too close to the ball, even a couple inches it creates problems.
  22. lol. nice one
