The only thing I hate is when I am let through by a slower group and I feel rushed. My game goes to hell for a couple holes. Wish people would move along efficiently, but not feel rushed like they have a hot date or something.

This is the problem with "fast play" People gripe about slow play, but want people plenty of time to get out of the way. Slow golf is safe golf.

Getting lessons from my local pro who works with a top 5 web.com tour player twice a week the last month has gotten me from shooting mid 90's to today where I shot a 1 over 37 for 9 holes. 8 out of 9 GIR with 20 mph wind and greens were aerated 2 days ago. My equipment is walmart clubs and a $199 G-15 driver. I could get 40 lessons from my pro for what the latest clubs would cost me. With that many lessons, I could use a 2X4 and probably break par.

Hole-in-one competitions give vehicles as prizes. I think as long as it is not in a tournament (Like a scramble) under the rules of golf, there is no amateur prize amount limit.

Maybe the Wilson's might have just fit you better, but it is probably Wilson doesn't have to jack up their price due to their endorsement deals. Good equipment at low cost. Like Top-Flite.

I play 9 holes in 45 minutes. My iron covers haven't slowed me down at all, and I hated the noise from the chatter.

Just a sad day for golf. Would have been great if Jordan had won. If I was a player, I would let him win because if he had won the grand slam this year, I bet next year purses would have been through the roof.

What I like about him being a shorter hitter, is that he is not putting so much stress on his body.

Like I said after the US Open. Golf might have caught fire with the ascent of Tiger Woods, but I think after this year if Jordan keeps up this pace, a lot of people will be going "Tiger Who". And it seems to have started :)

You can play good golf even when you are older. Look at Tom Watson. Heck, even my instructor shot a 63 at age 63.

I agree, for that money I can get a full inclusive membership at my local club including unlimited range balls. I could also get 6 lessons a month from the resident pro as well.

Last year at a course I never played and no warm-up. 55 front, 37 back for a 92 on a 36-36 par course. 6 pars, 1 birdie, 2 bogeys on the back.

Hit worm burners and you could probably beat some pros.

Been playing a couple months short of 3 years, so am very excited.
