My hottest start was probably the first 4 holes in my tournament yesterday. Was pouring down rain and managed to start par, par, birdie, par. My first hole was a 280 ish yard par 4 where you can either hit a iron off to the fairway or try to carry it to the green and the 3 kids in my group had already hit their irons and they told me to hit and I told them I was going for the green and I was going to wait since there was a group in front of us. The kids were like whatever so I tee it up and I crush one at the green and it landed 3 feet from my schools #1 player and rolls out to about 15 feet, I proceeded to 3 putt though

First and only time I have broke 80 the back nine, I am a consistent low to mid 80's player and this fall was playing one of my two home courses and I shot a usual 42 on the front and at the end of the day I shot a 78. Shot an even back nine with one bogey and one birdie and I didn't even realize what I had done until I counted it up after, I was hitting the ball well and I hit 8 of the 9 greens and had barely realized it until I counted up my score and it said I had shot even!

Basically I only have a pitching wedge, gap wedge, and a super old 56 degree vokey that is now banned for high school tournaments and need a new wedge set I don't have money to get fitted for wedges but I think I have enough to buy some decent ones/used ones and we have a nice 2 week break after next Monday Currently hit my pitching wedge 140-150, gap wedge 130 ish, and my 56 I use for anything under 125 Basically I kind of want to replace my taylormade rsi2 gap wedge and my 56 degree for a real full set of 3 wedges but I am not sure which/what degrees

Haven't been on here for a while but first high school golf tournament of the season and shot a 83 (Par 72, raining and 6700 yards) 39-44 and I hit 3 drives into hazards and took a 9 on a par 5 so pretty happy with the round but hope to be in the 70's shortly Much better then my tournament best of last year though which was a 97!

Was not nervous at all for my first tournament earlier this year but in my second tournament I shanked my drive OB and since then I get nervous for the first shot if I am playing with kids from other schools that I don't know. However, after that first shot I am not nervous and when playing casual rounds I have never felt nervous other then the first time that I was about to shoot in the 70's

Highly doubt that is Wake Forest's practice regimen since I saw their top player, Will Zalatoris, last week at the Spirit invitational and even his warm ups were more thorough and productive then that.

The tiger woods nike shirts. I only have like 5 golf shirts, 2 school ones, 2 tiger woods nike ones, and an adidas. The Tiger woods ones are the best by far

Taylor Made Burner Golf Balls
Tgb02 replied to jsgolfer's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
Thank you so much, for a 17 year old who has to pay for his own golfing stuff this is awesome. -
Would suggest the chrome soft, Snell balls, Taylormade project a, titleist velocity balls are actually decent Also I have never seen anyone talk about them but I found some Taylormade aerobuner golf balls that are like 26 bucks a dozen, 3 piece and I have only ever seen them at target but I played a sleeve of them this week and they felt really nice.

Last (Golf) Thing You Bought?

I got some wilson staff duo balls, a new pretty sweet texas ball marker, and a couple new gloves. Hoping to go get fitted for a putter in 2 weeks! -

I only have 2 Snell golf balls left after 8 rounds with them! Really liked the ball and it feels pretty good. I got a decent amount of spin around the green and sometimes a bit too much for my liking but it feels really nice off the club face and distance wise I couldn't really tell much of a difference. Irons went about the same length and driver went just as far as most balls I have played. -

Have played 3 rounds with them so far and love them! I lost 11 of them so far which was just me being stupid but I have gotten some good check around the greens and they go the same distance as really any ball I have ever played. They feel super soft and overall really like the feel of the ball. -
I'm playing the rsi 2's and they feel great. I have a friend who plays some mizuno blades and he likes the feel of the mizuno's better but he gets more distance with the rsi 2's.

Questions about custom fit putters?
Tgb02 replied to caniac6's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Should I get fit for a putter then buy one and have it adjusted or buy a putter then get fitted and adjusted? -
And my Rockets fall short again. Really thought the officiating was awful throughout the night even though that wasn't the main reason they lost. Josh Smith played just awful and Corey Brewer/Trevor Ariza just did not show up. Jason Terry started hot but did little to nothing in the second half which sucked but man Mchale went stupid at the end. He should of just called a timeout and got Harden a chance for a setup play. He let Harden dribble into a 2v3 after Green missed the reverse layup. Ugh that was such a heartbreaker because now Houston has to win these next 2 games.

You can find some that aren't rory stamped or whatever for a lot cheaper but I know what you mean. My coach got one for 1,500 off ebay and its super nice. I found a customized blue scotty that I like that I might order but those nike putters just look so nice. If only I had 1k to drop on one of those rory putters.

Just ordered 2 dozen myself to tryout and I found this really cool comparison/evaluation of the ball- http://www.mygolfspy.com/direct-to-consumer-golf-ball-buyers-guide/ Does anyone know if they will be raising their prices anytime soon? Also how long does it usually take for them to be delivered? -
Just curious has anyone here ever been fitted for a putter at club champion?

Can't wait to see the reviews, I am really considering ordering some of these balls. -
Yep I won an award for my golf team this year so my mom promised me a present kinda thing since my parents have been harsh on me the last few years so I convinced her to let me get a fitted putter but once I get my first two pay checks this summer I am getting fitted for wedges :D so excited but first wanna get a putter since mine feels so awful off the face right now. Also ya the ping ansers are nice I didn't even think about those.

What are y'alls thoughts on nike putters? I am in store for a new putter and thinking about a scotty cameron or a nike method like Rory's. I would love to order the Nike method 006 but just want reviews from other people.
