Most ranges around here (Michigan) have been open for a couple weeks. One course by me is open 365 days a year, but the others all open between today and April 1st. First round of the year should be Tomorrow, Friday or Sunday. Buttt its supposed to snow monday...

Try out the Top Flite Gamer. They're around 20$ for a dozen, have great feel, good spin, and are generally durable. -

Nothing against Texas because I think they're a great team, But I think Bama is going to just roll threw them. Alabama seems unstoppable and Texas is going to be outmatched everywhere.

Out of those 3 I would say the Ping G10's. You can find a new set of Callaway Big Berthas from 06 or even the bigger 08 model. They are both super forgiving and easy to hit. -

I'm thinking of doing the same thing for my spring break this year seeing how most of my golf buddies are busy. -
I've noticed this too. But of course a blade-like iron is going to dig and slice through grass and dirt much easier than a thick soled iron.
