Travel bag - club protection?
is2linda replied to ryanf's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
It shouldnt be a big problem. Just put a fragile sticker on your bag. My uncle travels all the time with a crappy soft bag he got from a flea market and it seems to me that his clubs are all good. -
I think so too

Wait is this true? Where did you find this?

Sun Mountain C-130 bag...any thoughts?
is2linda replied to Dub's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
He should be happy because i have the same warbird bag. I love my callaway bag. -
Hm... what kinda music do you guy listen while you practice? Im afraid imma get adrenalize eveything time listen to music, that my tempo would be off playing a round. Its kinda like when i go jogging, when i listen to music i tend to run longer and faster, then i do without music.

i thought so too. I guess i use to have a stack and tilt backswing when i was starting out. To be honest i thought that made it a lot easier for me to impact the ball HARD. Anyways i switched to rotation swing.

1st High School Golf Match! Did Great :)
is2linda replied to right handed phil mickelson's topic in Golf Talk
Good job! i wish my old high school had a golf team. In fact i wished i started golf when i was in high school. -
The only thing that will get you going, same thing for golf, is having a good environment that encourages you. I use to have friends that all played instrument and it made me want to work hard, but after they all switch to different things, it became a different story. You just need someone to motivate you to play.

Well its a new swing, you cant expect it to jump up in the rankings over month. The biggest question i do have for stack and tilter is: is their backswing same as a reverse pivot? Lmk thanks!

Pro V1 Practice ball?
is2linda replied to kleraudio's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
They are basically the same thing with minor imperfection. My Uncle buys them all the time, then he sharpies the practice logo off, as if hes lining it up. Its a good buy to me. -
Brush and water would be suffice. If the stain is still stubborn, get some acetone or golf club cleaner.

I feel you all the way. Its like the feeling i get when i had a good work out at the gym. You just feel refreshed and rejuvenated.

New putter.....I think Golf Galaxy made a boo-boo!
is2linda replied to FFemt5287's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
What steal... If not used and you got it for 49.95 congrats! It happens time to time, the price gunner messes up and the sales clerk is stupid to know. Good one! Hope it helps your game! -
Im actually curious about the stack and tilt swing. I have heard great deals about it, and the theory behind your shoulder as the radius and center point rather then the spine make sense. I hope it works out well for you!

A good way to counter against that is getting a heavier head putter.

Shaft rotation on take-away?

It would be 10x better if you just post a video of your swing. -
Driver Vs. 3 wood, having a hard time...
is2linda replied to sp33d's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
Woods are easier to hit, smaller head, lighter, and shorter club, so it drops easier on the ground. Driver on the otherhand, is the quite opposite. With the driver, you have to exaggerate your swing a little bit, and a slight miscalculation will result in high pops, slice, hook etc. Its quite interesting, it seems that those that have good driver shots, have opposite problem and often have hard time using woods and hybrids to get the ball up. I need to see your swing for me to help you diagnose whats going on. -
One swing thought at a time. That is key If you have to focus on everything at once, it rarely works out. Drill at the range until it feel likes "line up swing". Never try to bring your new swing to the course, until it becomes a habit. otherwise its just frustrating and you think the swing change is not doing anything, giving up on it completely.

[QUOTE=jldavis73;363532] Wow... you too?! Some no body 32 handicap scrawny man came up and did the same thing, except he knocked off the wig of an old man mowing the lawn, and he was never welcomed back. Rumor has it that it was actually Batman that forged this awesome driver for Jack Hamm. After several years of doing punch line phrases such as "pow and bam" every time Batman clowns the joker, it boosted up Batman's self confidence because he was the only super hero without super powers. It almost defined Batman's cool edge "imma badass" personality as you see today (just compare Batman from the 70s to current batman). It was all thanks to Jack Hamms confidence booster and encourage of the catch phrase "Pow"! For that, batman forged the best driver, with a triangle bat technology face, and Bat-banging shaft. It ultimately changed the history of golf club making. This ultimate driver was so ultimate that all club brand companies had to united to ban the Hammer from ever being sold at the retail store and any golf course, because it will wreck all sales and all courses it touches. Under GCMP (Golf Club Manufacturing Policy) Section 9.2a Paragraph 3 it states, "Thereof No Stores may sell Jack Hamm's Bat technology driver called the Hammer, due to the concerns of public safety and discrepancy of equililibrium among distributions of other club brands" Due to this, now Jack Hamm only is allowed to use infomercials to sell his ultimate driver, by using his catchphrase of POW to help customers gain confidence just as Batman did with his low self esteem. It is too bad that DC had put a copy right infringement upon Batman's name, which ultimately stop Jack from telling the public that Batman was the man behind this club.

Hm... i dont quite agree with you there. Slow greens to me dont break at all, regardless of 6 feet in or not, unless its a vertical drop. As for sinking in at the back of the hole as if playing fast green, i dont know which courses you play or how accurate your putting is, but when i hit the way you describe on my course, if my ball misses it will zoom back all the all the way to the edge of the fringe. That a huge risk to take on a fast green for me, i rather play with breaks. Anyways just play with a lot less breaks, pretend you are playing on your carpet like a miniature golf. Its quite frustrating to get back forth with green conditions, but thats just part of the game of golf.

Golf Pride Grips - I must have!
is2linda replied to zak flaps's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I read an article somewhere that golf grips alter your dispersion by 10-30 yards, your distance from 10-20 yards, and your game by 3 to 5 strokes. It makes that much of an difference! On average you should be changing grips after every 1 to 1.5 years, depending on usage. Sometimes when clubs are left unused, the grips get hard and loses its texture. With slippery grip, it affects your grip pressure, the ability to square the club, and releasing the club fluidly. Dude get new grips if you want to take your game to the next level.
