Completed first nine holes with it first try was a bust as I left the unit on after a full charge without turning it off for awhile and arrived at the course with barely a charge. First lesson learned turn it off, captain obvious. The course search didn’t display the name or any details so just trusted it to work. Does it actually show the name? Didn’t like clipping it anywhere on belt I just feel it there and it throws me off so just took it out of back pocket. You can’t do a tag if there is a layer of cloth blocking it it seems. I swore I tagged most 2 putts when on green and then did the pin collect but more than a few times it missed the finishing putt. The app took a little getting used to there are quirks like all apps but figured out how to edit without too many problems the YT vids help. They’re a bit wordy and I just skipped around to get to the stuff I wanted. Overall pretty easy to use I just gotta figure out a comfortable and easy access place to put it while playing. The tags seem to stay on club ok but I’ll use silicon when I get a chance.

More flow. Treat the swing as one cohesive unit. Tempo is faster than I thought I guess it just reflects my personality.

Got the latest jab and surprisingly this one hurt the least and nary any lethargy or flu like symptoms. Switched arms this time maybe that might have something to do with it.

Finished the Netflix tv scripted comedy, Mo. I never heard of the guy before, but he's a very established comic. He's Palestinian, so you get jokes with a perspective of someone who has experienced getting kicked out of his home among other things, but he's very funny and the show is shot in Houston, a city we don't see much of on tv which was cool, and I got some life lessons. I laughed... a lot. Is there a way to reset my bag? Irons are yellow and the rest are black. The interface screwed me up and somehow I set the colors for irons to another color. I tried removing and adding again and got another color. Something tells me I’ll have to start all over again. Nevermind I just created another account and started over again. Pain in the butt. I hate setting these things up.

Yes! I think the heat had something to do with it. It wasn’t that hot but just so many hot days have worn on me. Also distracted by setting up camera to film swing. But the feel of a 6 vs a 9 in my hands. The look of the face and the length should have sent alarm bells ringing. I guess I just wasn’t thinking or thinking of lunch or something.

If you have less lead arm adduction on the backswing won’t it follow there will be a little more adduction on the downswing?

First time this happened to me. I dunno how the loft of the clubface at address didn’t alert me let alone the shaft length obviously wasn’t thinking. So it’s 145 yards a par 3 strong wind against so I figure a stock 6 iron because I’m not hitting it well. I took the nine and had no idea until I hit it fortunately was only short by 10 yards. If I did hit the 6 I’d be well over the green. Anyways, I’ve always thought what idiot would mistake a 9 for a 6? Me. That’s who. On a sort of related note in the tv show The Resort, Cristin Miloti threatens someone with with a club and the dude goes don’t hit me with the 9. That cracked me up.

Lol. This summer and no previous summers have kept me indoors. Yet.

Some swings focusing on flow. Used Mach 3 speed swing trainer between swings. Tempo is a little quick. First swing hands going out to ball too quick from A4 ish. The fix less handsy on the downswing more start with lead shoulder, turn into lead shoulder, squeeze lead armpit. Even in the corrected swing hands are still dropping would prefer to “leave it up there” more. Still the club face and plane between A6.5 and A7.5 ish something looks off in second swing. Can also get that lead hip going earlier. Stretch cycle and all that.

Sometimes I shut down the face too quick if the face is open.

Better A4 here and pivot as well, hips open more at A7, but face is too open. Maybe combine this with feels from above swing.

OK, so far, I'm glad I re-upped to see his new material. I'm the kind of person who has to know the why of everything and very detail oriented so this barrage of information which can be a lot, I just find it really interesting. In the Patterns section, I've gone through Fundamentals (which is available for free), Contact, Shallowing (Micro and Macro). Some highlights, he says you don't have to necessarily point the shaft outside the ball at A5, it depends on the swing. He shows a way to pivot where the lead foot jumps off the ground and goes towards 9 o'clock, if 12 o'clock is your target line, and then there's for a moment a lot of pressure on the back foot. Also something called overlapping which basically abduction of the shoulder happening during the back and downswing.
