  1. Good luck with the treatment, keep us up to date. I have some annoyances too (varying degrees of mucus in sinus cavities, pressure on ears, nasal drip, headache, tootache), and since nothing shows up in headscans the doctor can only attribute it to allergic reactions. So keeping in mind how annying those are, I can only imagine what you are going through !
  2. I'm a high/mid handicapper, so take this with a bit of salt. Always tinkering with my swing, trying to improve, trying to get better. What I have noticed is that no matter what you try or learn, best results always seem to come when I swing "naturally" without overthinking it, without thinking about positions, wrist angles, swing planes, and so on. Just take care of "the basics", your own stability, stay in your center, rotate, let the club do the work without too much conscious correctoins or techniques. My pro says I am analytic and I should try to get more feel in my swing and game. And funny thing is, it kinda feels how Aaron's swing looks. I used to be a sweeper too. Lately have been focussing on my right elbow, retaining the lag. Have a bit more compression now. Ball goes as far or even farther then before, but with less effort. Furthermore, for me, it is a good way to feel the plane / the club, easier to slighty adjust steeper or flatter for fades and draws. But again, I'm a 18 capper, so what do I know !
  3. I rock basically the same bag as the topicstarter, albeit a rebadge job. The Adidas AG Tour Stand Bag.
  4. I tested several balls and in the end choose the Srixon AD333
  5. Srixon AD333. Excellent soft feel for short game. Very affordable.
  6. I had a Bridgestone ballfitting last year. Played with their recommended ball (e7) for some time. Then I was given a sample of Srixon AD333 balls on a demo day. I liked their soft feel soooo much more then the Bridgestone. My game was even better with them, and I felt more confident standing over them too. For some reason, my mind and body decided that was the right ball for me. So I switched from a fitted ball to a non fitted ball.
  7. VERY nice ! I often wear Tommy Hilfiger clothing. Maybe I should look into thise JL stuff too ! I do like the white Adidas and Mizuno belts (which I don't own .. yet), but there is no denying this JL belt is much nicer !
  8. I personally don't like those animal covers. But you shouldn't worry about what other people think about it or you. As long as they are not majorly offensive or something like that, just buy and use what you like ! It's your hobby, you life, your enjoyment ! Go for it !
  9. My favorite place for special occasions http://www.hetgebaar.be/ It's in Dutch, but the photos (foto's) are a universal language
  10. I tried the mirror, plane and rail from Yes! Golf in a short game clinic.. I liked them very much, so much I am about to buy them .. the plane is not completely straight so you can feel the natural square-inside-square-inside path .. http://www.118golf.co.uk/Practice-Pu...d145pd4911.htm http://www.118golf.co.uk/Practice-Pu...d145pd4915.htm http://www.118golf.co.uk/Practice-Pu...d145pd4913.htm
  11. I tried to look it up. Apparently the best know abbey beers are called TRAPPIST, and are brew by cistercienzer monks. There are 7 monastaries that brew them, 6 are in belgium, one in Holland. * "Achel" from the Achelse Kluis in Hamont-Achel * "Chimay" from the Abbey Notre-Dame de Scourmont in Chimay * "La Trappe" from the Abbey Koningshoeven in Berkel-Enschot (Holland) * "Orval" from the Abbey van Orval in Villers-devant-Orval * "Rochefort" from the Abbey Notre-Dame de Saint-Rémy in Rochefort * "Westmalle" from the Abbey van Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van het Heilig Hart in Westmalle * "Westvleteren" from the Abbey Sint-Sixtusabdij in Westvleteren According to the rules of the IVT (international trappist society): - beer has to be brew under supervision of abbey community - has to be brew withing the abbey walls - largest part of the profits go to social work So all TRAPPIST beers are ABBEY BEERS, but not vice versa. There are lots of other abbey beers that do not adhere to the abovementioned three rules, or are brew by another order than the cistercienzer monks and therefor can not call themselves trappist beer. "Leffe" beer is one of them. Big chance you tried one of the above ?!
  12. Guys. Personally I'm not a beer drinker. But if you are serious about your beers, you really should check out the Belgian beers ! It's estimated that Belgium produces about 8700 varieties of beer. Check them out !
  13. Also consider that not everyone on this forum is a native English speaker. I for instance am not. I speak, read and write 4 languages, but it's offcourse far from perfect since I have only one native language !
  14. Always Firefox. Depending on the mood, I do changee my OS. Mostly on Ubuntu 9.10 though, like right nog. But also sometimes on Mandriva 2010. And very very rarely on Opensuse 11.2
