92 on Sunday. 46 + 46 on a very windy day at the Bucks club. Mushy fairways and cart path only rules made it a rather long round, but I got a lot of walking in! Greens were pretty good, considering the winter we have had.

Improve number of putts per round to closer to 30/32 ish. Currently at 36.1, I know I can do better and I do well on my regular rotation of courses, it's the ones I rarely or have never played that trip me up Hit consistently in the 80's _ had too many disaster holes last year that put me over 90, probably due to lack of concentration and consistency. Play at least 3 new courses Play in at least one new state Hit the range more as well as the short game practice area at a course I frequent

Only 2, USA and England. Really want to get to Scotland and Ireland to play.

I voted 7 as well. I think if you feel good about a shot you're planning it helps (me) to have the confidence that I can actually execute that shot. It helps me to visualize the shot, and say to myself, "Yeah I can pull that off."

I voted 1- he owes "us" nothing. This is National Enquirer, celebrity gossip type fodder, and I really don't care to know more. Glad he's recovering tho, because he's fun to watch.

89 at Pinecrest CC on Sunday, 45/44. 3 pars including a chip in par on 18 which made it all worthwhile. Temp was average of 43 degrees for the round but there was no wind to speak of, but really, this is probably as cold as I can bear, even with winter Footjoy gloves. Greens were surprisingly very fast tho, and the course is still in over all good shape for a public/semi-private track.

One of my stupid goals in life is to play golf in all 50 states. I am unlikely to reach that goal, but iI have kept a list of states where I have played. Some states I have played multiple courses, other states I played just a single round on one course. I don't remember all of them, so it's tough to count how many courses I have played.

91 yesterday at Pinecrest, 48/43. My worst hole was the first hole, triple bogey. Drive went into the schmutz, dropped in the drop zone, then hit a bunker shot over the green. It is usually somewhat demoralizing to badly butcher the first hole. Second hole, a par 3, made it over the water, chipped on, 2 putts, feeling a bit better... 3rd hole, par 5, great drive, great second shot and 3rd shot was almost GIR, just a little short, and suddenly my mood improves greatly. Finished the round in the dark though. Cold, dark, and the wind was picking up. Lousy golf weather.

Like I said they call it a links course, but it definitely isn't. And yes, it is extremely fun to play! And you can see Katherine Hepburns house too.

My best shot this week was a chip in for par on #18 at Ravens Claw. Hit a good drive that was just off the fairway in heavy soaking wet rough. Second shot went right into more heavy wet rough in front of a greenside bunker. Third shot was a chip over the bunker into more wet heavy rough about 6-8 feet from the pin. The lie was somewhat buried and my feet were well below the ball. Took my PW, choked down and popped it into the hole on one bounce. Great way to end the round after a troublesome hole.

Fenwick in CT. I played here quite a bit when I used to go to Old Saybrook on business trips, and they call themselves a links course. It is on "links" land, but there are trees: Welcome to our Site!!

Yuck. 95 at Raven's Claw on Sunday, 49+46, hit only 50% of the fairways. Not my best round there by far, only parred 2 holes, 14 & 18. Conditions were really tough. Rainy, windy, and they had the course set up for some kind of tournament from earlier in the day or Saturday. White tees were set up where the blues usually were placed and all the pins were in really difficult positions, astride a ridge or the highest point on the green, or 2 yards from the back or front, or whatever made them least friendly.

90 again. 44 on the front, which felt good, 46 on the back and felt like i played a lot worse.. Very slow play on the course

I have retinal tears in both eyes. I can usually see where my ball goes, but I do have permanent damage so some spots are hard to see, also in certain glaring light conditions it's hard to keep track I always ask whoever I'm playing with to watch my shots, and so far nobody has complained.
