  1. someone stole your fireplace
  2. Why would you want to limit yourself to the offerings of only ONE manufacturer? mosayswhat?
  3. Well...let this be your lesson not to do everything someone tells you. You should have tried choking down for a while and if that felt good then you could go ahead and cut them down AFTER you proved that you liked shorted clubs. Well since you seem to like to do it your self you can always put shaft extensions in if you want to go back to original length. At your skill level..make changes slowly...and for heavens sake NEVER listen to salesmen!!
  4. craftsmanship looks good, sounds like you put some care into it...I guess I am not thrilled with the color combo...and matching your bag....I have to see a picture of the bag!!! The best thing is,....they are YOURs not mine...enjoy your sticks
  5. I am with you the 55 had better lines, fatter and looked "badder" than the 57
  6. How about a winter focused on Yoga and really working the core!!! Strong,Quick, loose muscles and a strong core to open up the spring season. Momentus heavy club along with some putting on carpet and maybe a few chips per day. Try the super slow swing, the one that takes 1:30 to complete. Read a few books and prepare mentally.,
  7. Your neighbors dislike you. "there he is hitting golf balls at our house again!!!" Grip is pretty strong, ball too far forward, loss of balance at the end....and your pajamas are getting dirty Need to bend more in the knees ( more like sitting in a chair) and flatten that back... shoulders back!
  8. Just the "style" the past few years...10 years ago NO ONE would have asked to have it done it this way. Some how the fad has caught a wave of momentum...in a few years it will be gone. If it mattered people would buy only plain black grips...which they dont...they want to emulate the tour players.
  9. Fairly collectible...sell for $50 + on Ebay...steel shaft surrounded by wood
  10. Look for a wool throw rug, great for making full swings, and if large enough good for putting practice
  11. I prefer to chip with 9-pw-52 it removes any checking from the equation.
  12. Check out this local "league" It is a traveling club....maybe you could mimick this model and create your own . www.pgtgolf.com
  13. I have a used original bag shag..if you have any interest....let me know
  14. Look into the GCU Greek Catholic Union of the U.S.A. A Fraternal Benefit Society 5400 Tuscarawas Road Beaver PA, 15009 Phone: 1-800-722-4428 Fax: 1-724-495-3421 Email: info@gcuusa.com they own Seven Oaks Country club. If you put I think $300 into a bond you can play 3 times per year for free ( pay cart fees of $21 ) you can also bring guest and pay their way, and dine in the dining room and be sent a bill. After you play your 3 times you can continue to go out and you would be billed greens fees and carts. Like your own country club that you pay as you go...great if you ever have to entertain clients. A challenging course that offers less than 4 hour rounds. Under the GCU Corporate Membership, GCU members have limited use of the facilities at Seven Oaks Country Club, Inc. Limited use is defined as three (3) times per year depending on Club availability. Forty-eight (48) hours advance reservations are required for the GCU member's use of Seven Oaks Country Club, Inc., and such request to use the facilities is to be directed through the GCU Fraternal Communications Department at the Home Office. The facilities available for limited use by GCU members are: Dining, Tennis, Golf and Swimming. GCU Adult members are required to maintain a minimum balance of $300.00 in an annuity, or have a life insurance policy, in order to use the GCU Corporate Membership at Seven Oaks Country Club for use of the recreational facilities - Golf, Swimming, Tennis, or to qualify to participate in a GCU subsidized sporting event held on a national level, which currently includes the following events - National Bowling Tournament, National Golf Tournament, Spring and Fall Multi-District Golf Tournaments at Seven Oaks. The member is responsible for dining and cart fees as appropriate. Green fees, tennis and swimming fees are paid to Seven Oaks by the GCU as a fraternal benefit for its members. A temporary card will be issued every time GCU members choose to use the Seven Oaks facilities. Card numbers are issued through the GCU Fraternal Communications Department. The cards are available for pick-up at the Reception Desk at Seven Oaks on the day of use. Cards previously issued are not valid.
  15. If either your Dad or your Uncle say "Pick it up" ....TRUST THEM!!!!
  16. I have done it in the past, and still would today if I could remember to do it....what convinced me to do it was...spin the ball and make the mark..take the ball out flip it around and replace in the spinner...spin..and the same point comes to the top. EVERYTIME, so it seems to be more than coincidence. I cant tell you what happens after the 1st hit...but at least on the first shot it will be alright.....
  17. Everytime, whether I know them well...or just met at the beginning of play. Common courtesy
  18. I really like my Feel Wedges, can be found on TGW for $50 a club
  19. I am using Grip Master leather grips right now and really enjoy them. There is a guy on Ebay selling them for what works out to be $5 per grip. They are great feeling, add shock absorption and should last me 5 + years. They tack back and are easy to care for....
  20. Tell her you will sit at the computer and watch porn unless she takes you to the course.
  21. To me, those prices are a bit high, the Zings at $159 are worthless w/o the 9..there is no resale value for a set missing pieces, the only thing they are good for is a jr set or sold off in pieces. $210 for the eye seem alittle high ($30-60) high, unless they have new grips and are in great great shape. The salesman is partial to his paycheck NOT your golf experience.
  22. I have a copper and a steel set..let me know what you are going to spend..one is red one is orange. Pings are great, good performers and good to resale, you may lose alittle money but not an arm and a leg
  23. I have a copper and a steel set..let me know what you are going to spend..one is red one is orange
  24. What you do after you hit the ball will have no impact on the shot.
