It's still early. Tuuka will be fine as the No. 1 goalie. It was a ginormous choke job. There was absolutely no excuse for losing that series that way. The only way it could have been worse is if the B's had lost to Montreal.

I like the writing in Golf Digest better. I skip the playing tips in both, but read all the other stuff in both mags every month.

I have the book & it is great. I was going to spring for the DVD's too, but not if they don't add something more than the book does. Anybody else with the DVD's?

I didn't get a chance to watch either game this weekend, but I heard that Ryder played pretty well for a change on Sunday.

From my experience, Lefty selection at Dick's changes from store to store but is better than average overall. Of the 3 stores here that I've been two, one has a respectable selection, and the other two were OK. I've found Sports Authority to at best to have a handful of cheap wedges and putters, I don't know why I bother to keep going into there.

I just picked up the art of putting today, but I haven't had a chance to crack it open yet.

I hadn't seen that. I'm not quite that optimistic about their chances this year, but I do think they'll do better than they did last year. I do hope that Savard doesn't end up on long term IR this season. They had a hell of a time trying to score without him.

I'm amazed by the anticipation leading up to the Bruins season this year, even after the embarrassing exit from the playoffs last year.

I'm looking to get some instruction with the Stack & Tilt swing. I was wondering if anybody knew of someone in Eastern MA or Southern NH who teaches the stack and tilt method. Thanks

Which club do you hit better with? That's the important thing. Why carry a club if you never use it because you don't have any confidence in it.

I think it depends on the type of round you are playing and who you are playing with. When I play with my usual group, who are all better players than I am, I have no problem teeing from the tee box in front of them. However, I recently played a purely social round with an old friend and I moved all the way up to the women's tees with her and had a more enjoyable round because of it.

I just got a pushcart myself. Makes walking the course much easier when you don't have to pick up the bag after every shot. Especially if you take a ton of extra shots like I do.

Tin Cup is definitely my favorite. Caddyshack is a close second. Bagger Vance and Greatest Game Ever Played are pretty solid. Bobby Jones:Stroke of Genius is overrated and A Gentleman's Game is just horrible. I'd love to see Dead Solid Perfect, but it isn't on DVD yet. My local library has it on VHS but I haven't had a VCR in years. Best golf scene in a non-golf movie: The Thomas Crowne Affair. Either one, it's the same scene in both.

I'm hoping for a Habs-Hawks final. Original 6 FTW!

That's 100% markup. just sayin... Retail markups generally tend to be smaller on larger items. That's why the idiots at Radio Shack try and sell you every battery and cable known to man when you buy a DVD player. 20% markup on clubs makes sense, but so does 120% on those fancy tees with the stripe painted around them.

I love this show. I don't mind that it is really an hour-long infomercial for Trump's golf properties around the country. It's kind of fun to see non-touring golfers in match play, though my favorite episode was the one with John Daly and Rocco Mediate. Seeing those guys just out there having fun was a blast. Hopefully season 2 has more of those type matches.

I can hardly believe that the GD bruins have let this series go 7 games. That was a nice touch last night with "God Bless America" last night in Philly.

I'd much rather walk than ride & I don't want to shell out the $$ for a push cart. I guess that's two reasons to carry my clubs.

Whatever knocks your hair back. Personally, my Callaway bag doesn't match any of my clubs. When I bought it I was looking for something that would be easy to carry and with a cooler pocket. I did get some blank headcovers that match my bag. I will admit that I didn't like all my mismatched headcovers that went with my POS clubs.

I don't see the Canucks on TV very often, so when I first looked at the game last night my first thought was "Why are the Hartford Whalers playing?" Took me a second to see Vancouver on the front of the jerseys.
