  1. I want to start using the same ball for putting, chipping and playing. This means i need to keep my focus and stop trying out new stuff. So time to sell my massive collection of Nike RZN platinums, stop buying a different ball for chipping practice and focus on TM Tp5's now.
  2. This happens to me, when its people older than me (35). They are very friendly, and seem to not take things so serious. Very comfortable in their game good or bad. And have some jokes, and positive energy towards the "young fella"
  3. Just starting to get back into golf with a really sketchy chip, pitch, and putt game. im shooting 96-93 right now. So i think mid 80's .... 10-14 index by next summer 17
  4. For me thats a half swing 50degree. Or a full swing chip with a PW
  5. Half swing 50 degree, full pitch shot with PW, or full swing with 54. The half swing 50 is my favorite.
  6. I play solo all the time. And i also count penalty shots and every stroke. I have made it a habit to try to input honest scores just to calculate an almost accurate index. With that said, im going to start only calculating my full 18hole rounds and count my quick 9hole rounds as practice. Usually my solo play is the quick 9 hole rounds
  7. I often play alone in the late evening. It's my way of getting some practice in. Like many have said i will play and repeat some shots if nobody is behind me *usually i seem to always be the last one out*. Lets me see what my shot is doing in the real world and calculate my distances on the course. Something hard for me to do at a range.
  8. Driver with straight down the middle of the fairway (hey last year i was duck hooking the driver and was afraid to look at it. Now im hitting it straight or baby draws or fades) then 7 iron within 15-20 feet of the pin on the green. It doesn't take much to please me.
  9. Not mentally wrapping my mind around my Hybrids (hitting a wood shaped object like an iron) I rather just hit a fairway wood or an iron. Next would be my putting. I need to spend time and find what putter works best for me. Not what looks cool to me (right now a odyssey black tour blade style putter)
  10. Nike. because they have ran my entire life, lol. Sneakers, basketball, snowboarding, softball, golf. If its sports or athletics my whole house is Nike. Thats said. With that said, i am also a big fan of srixon, bridgestone(balls), and cleveland (wedges and putters), taylor made woods/hybrids I'm giving a chance now. I like the look of them, lets see if i can hit them.
  11. Nike Machspeed Black Round Driver. picked it up for 109 new from rock bottom. Loooooove it. Very easy to swing for me. give it a chance.
  12. Purple Kool-Aid
  13. Yea, I don't want to mess up my $150 sneakers on the golf range, matts, or practice greens. And i hate tracking the dirt from the range back into my car. But then again my golf sneakers look like i can go and do 100yd sprints in them, so they are as comfortable and light as my sneakers.
  14. Cleveland Classic. Might get the Brz soon. If it aint broke, just improve it.
  15. callawaypreowned has been my best friend, getting back into golf. 2 wedges, and 2 woods off there. And only one was a callaway brand *smiles* I love that they have other brands on their, and in good quality.
  16. Yep putter in the small section on the stand size, irons/wedges on second row. woods and hybrids on 3rd row. and driver on top top row near handle. On carts i have to flip it around to have all the pockets exposed. But no biggie.
  17. Sad to see Sarah Go. SMH. She had the best backside of the whole show. Now we are stuck with the Raging Bull and the little annoying princess. Neither is easy on my eyes
  18. At top of swing i briefly remind myself to "hold the wrist hinge, and bring her down crashing." oh and "get that left hip out the way!"
  19. Nike Dymo Str8-fit 10.5 for 97 bucks after my trade in of my Dymo2 non str8-fit
  20. Got a chance to hit mine for the first time today. Wow. Im going to hit it all week to make sure it wasn't a fluke. And dial in the best setting. But wow this was a great improvement over my Dymo2. And also WAY LOUDER!! I don't care, but i was shocked.
  21. Oh thanks! Thats awesome. Because last night i said to myself "Wow this club comes with a ball marker.......hold on....wait, what?....*dissapointment*"
  22. I just picked one up last night. There is a yellow line on the bottom of shaft. Line that up with the grey line on hosel of the head. And you have neutral. Cool part is you can look at the butt of the club on the grip and it has a nice lil diagram to let you know what setting your on. Now if i can just figure out what that lil velcro part that comes off inside the pocket for the tool thats on the clubhead is for
  23. Being out there and away from "life". Also just conquering a course round by round, hole by hole.
  24. At my school we had a "golf class". every 2nd period the class went to the local golf course and hit balls. And my classmates would bring back fries or (the ballers) full meals back from the course restuarant. Waaaaaaaay better than the food on campus!! I decided to join the golf class in 7th grade to be different than my peers, for the challange, and ................well...........for those fries!! And i got hooked. And at one point in H.S. passed up a varsity spot on the basketball team to play on the golf team. After a 12 year break from the game after H.S. (got burned out and discouraged from my quest to get a scholarship) i have made a real effort to get back into it and...................once again im hooked, and rather play golf than my rec league basketball games. lol
  25. I have the Nike Dymo 2 with stock shaft and 10.5 I can hit it straight every other week. But i have developed a mean hook/pull hook with it. I have noticed it has a closed face. And i find myself trying to correct that at address with my grip for eye pleasing reasons. This cannot be helping my swing. Im considering picking up a driver that is square at address. My eyes are locked on a Nike Dymo 9.5 , Cleveland Hibore XLS 9.5 (new for 100bucks), or Cleveland Monster Hibore XLS 8.5 (red shaft which i hear has a higher ball flight, reason for considering lower loft) Has anybody gone back and forth between these drivers? What was distance and forgiveness differences between the 2? Few things to point out: -Im pretty accurate with my 3wood and 5 wood which are crappy dunlop woods, and are square face, which leads me to believe a square face is better for me. (Sq2 3 wood, and sumo 2 hybrid will be here tommorow). -I have worked out alot of my hook problems with turning my hips better, so my hands are not ahead of my body and it has me hitting my fairway woods dead stright, or with a very very very slight left to right. But my driver, not so much.
