    Poulter

Couldnt agree more. I hear so much crap on the course like "I thought the English wore pink shoes like Poulter" etc.
  2. I have 8 total but they are all corporate tattoos, so they cover up nicely with a polo. The one on my right butt cheek says "made in England"; so when I'm old and grey, and its all wrinkled, I think the people checking it out will have much bigger issues then me
  3. how did the 695's feel? I've been reading about them and am a little curious
  4. I've been working on the same and have actually noticed an increase in yardage. But its not an easy thing to do. If I dont make a point of keeping it short I will go back to a past parrallel back swing and then bad things start to happen Your killing me man.............. but dont worry, I'm not a hater

    Mini Tour Play

Nice start to the year Ben!!! Hows the Japan thing looking for this year?
  6. I carry a 1 hybrid simply because its so much easier to hit of the fairway than a 3 wood. I have lost maybe 5 or 10 yards off the tee with it, but its worth it to be able to hit off the deck.

    To:

To: Steven Bowditch Play like you can To: Britney Hayes Keep plugging away, you'll get there.
  8. how long does it take you to hit 100 balls? you may be rushing. If I dont make a concious effort to slow down I will find myself hitting 1 ball, dragging the next over and hitting again, then again. Make sure you are stepping away from the ball after every swing and so you have to start the entire setup procedure again.
  9. He gave my son a dozen TP Reds at the Boise open this year so my opinion my be tainted. He's 19, on the PGA Tour, making who knows what from sponsors..... go ahead be cocky, he’s earned it.
  10. 13 courses for the year. Only two different states. Played 3 course in CA and the rest in Idaho.
  11. I've messed around with one on a putting matt but have never taken one out on the course. I have always liked a heavier feeling putter, but not that heavy. A lot of people love the club though so there must be something to it. OH and by the way.... do you have a spare room? Its cold in Idaho and I would love to play PGA West again LMAO
  12. from the other side of the ropes maybe
  13. Miguel Angel Carballo - my kid likes hime so thats good enough for me Tommy Two Gloves - you just cant help rooting for him Tyler Aldridge - Idaho guy Craig Kanada - I really like his swing
  14. The bottom line is that you will build confidence with a putting mat; whether the mat itself is good, bad, or indifferent. I have been practicing on a little 6ft mat for about a year now, and although I still have my bad days, my putting has improved exponentially. Am I still capable of have 38 putts in a round….. Yes. But am I also capable of having 28….. You bet!!!
  15. I think you will find the yardages listed in the "Whats in my bag" articles are a players favorite, most comfortable yardage. They can probably get huge distances with higher lofted clubs but they are palying the hit it close. I can hit my 8 iron longer than 155 but 155 is the number I pull the 8 iron at because I can control it from there. A challenge on the range is one thing but on the course is another. Once you get a score card in your hand it's not how far that matters, its how many.
  16. the rough was definately tough. It was cut at a fair length but it was thick and definately did strange things. THe last hole I got to play, I flew the green with my approach in a bunker, flew the green from the bunker and my ball just buried itself in the rough, I could see about a quarter size white spot sticking out...... needless to say I didnt stick that one close either Ben.... thank u for not talking about the first hole LMAO One of the main problems we had with time was one of the Idaho guys that was with us.... anytime someone has to stop at the turn and buy another dozen balls you know its gonna be a slow round. If you guys set up something I can always try to arrange another business trip Ben is a hell of a player, and good company so if you get the chance its worth it just to watch him play.
  17. That part does work well. But just in case....... He had his clubs lengthened by 1" and now they don’t lock in place. Where the shaft meets the "locking" part is too thick now.
  18. A friend that I golf with has one. He got last season and has had to send it in to BagBoy once to get the rotating thing replaced because of the god aweful noise it would make when he turned it. Apart from that, he thinks it is the best thing ever....... personally I'm not so sure. I preffer to walk so the entire rotating thing is over kill.
  19. you can always do what I did...... get rid of it. I took the 3 wood out and put in a 15 degree hybrid in its place.

    Mini Tour Play

Just curious, but how do they dress up the courses for you guys? Let the rough grow in, speed up the greens etc.?

    Mini Tour Play

Cangrats again Ben!!!! Whats the next event for you?
  22. Good point, but a lot of times a flip of the wrists at the ball like that wont produce a divot.
  23. Like Ben said, there’s nothing wrong with putting in your living room. I just have one of those fake putting mats; about 6 ft long and I will stand there and putt for an hour or so while I'm watching TV. Really work on keeping your head still, don’t watch the putts go in; listen for them to go in. A good drill I was taught this year was to putt with a coffee stirrer or a straw in my mouth. Then watch the straw as you putt and it will show you just how much your head is moving.
  24. Its only a hook if I dont like the outcome
