I hit both while getting fit. I got decent results with the V2 from a spin and distance perspective, but the VS felt like it had a ton more life in it and my numbers were ideal. To me the UST ProForce line has always felt boardy and lifeless, this shaft improves a bit, but not enough for me. I've got a pured VS Proto 70g in Stiff flex installed in a TM Superquad 9.5* head. I've literally tried to knock it out of the bag and can't. You can ask some people around here about my club buying habits, I

Same exact situation with my UST Proforce on my Nike.. I bought this club at a huge discount and as a short term solution to replace my previous driver, which was bad. It's been a year and I gave up trying to find an excuse to get rid of it. It's an amazing shaft. Now from an objective standpoint, I'd say it's a matter of preference.. the UST feels kind of "boardier" so for me, it gives me a sense of confidence that no matter how badly I hit it, it will go straight. The best advice I can give you is that you should try other shafts besides these two and pick the shaft you do the best in... NOT the shaft that you wish you did the best in (like the 2 you mentioned). I learned this the hardway.

Uh, I would buy and use the one that best suited my game and my swing. Doing anything but that would be stupid.

exactly.

I had a v2 on a driver and did not like the "parabolic" flex, as noted by members on the Remax long Drive website. Great shaft for a smooth (but obviously fast) swing. I am strictly Lag on my driver and find the Graphite Design shafts to be great for my driver swing, which in all honesty...I try to kill. I'm a "former" framing carpenter, concrete placer, state finalist in the shot put, and state qulaifier in the discus ...."son of a gun...Whooooo!" Anyway, before a break my arm patting myself on the back my meek accomplisments...PICK the right shaft through proper fitting. I play with a lot of forearms and snap, the v2 didn't work for me....Slice.

In the Bag...Ping Hoofer

I have a v2 in my driver and 3 wood, I am definitely going to switch to blueboards when I get new woods. My misses are left. I find it somewhat high in spin, want to get my numbers down. Find the same thing with the vs proto in the hybrid.

UST I think they run stronger from what Ive heard and their torque ratings are pretty low for the most part which i LOVE.
