Newbie here. About 11 weeks or so at learning.

Just a quick question. I dont have a 'slice' per se, but a bit of a fade that Id like to do away with and maybe have a bit of a draw.

Will an inside to out swing path through the ball help get rid of the fade ?

For a draw do I then make a slight adjustment to my grip or should I try something with the swing itself to force a draw...or is it a combination of things?

Thanks in advance.

And thanks for the help so far. I appreciate this forum and being treated respectfully as a beginner. Its rare on golf forums.

Some people would argue that a fade is an excellent shot to play as a stock shot so have a think before you decide to do away with it.

If you're fading the ball at the moment (presumably a pull-fade) the most likely cause would be swinging the club out-to-in and with a club face  that's closed to the target but open to the swing plane. For a nice push draw you need to try and get the club swinging in-to out a little and have the face open to the target but closed to the swing path.

Adjusting your club face angle at impact can be achieved by adjusting your grip. e.g. for me to fade the ball I weaken my grip, open my stance and swing out-to-in more.

Thanks for the diagram :)

So according to #4 there, inside to out swing path with a squared clubface should be able to hit a draw.

I do want to be able to hit a fade when needed. I just dont want it to be my standard bread and butter shot every time I hit the ball.

No, number 4 will produce close to a pull draw. So yes a draw. The one you really want is number 7, push draw..

In this diagram, #4 and #7 look like the the same shot to me, and probably to the golf ball as well.

Other than #7 is hit with a face open to the target and starts right of the target and #4 has a face square to the target and starts right at it.  #4 will finish left of the target, #7 will finish at the target.

Yeah, sorry I didn't see the target listed. I just assumed a closed stance pull draw would look a lot like a square to open stanced push draw, which it would. I know, because I hit one quite often and it rocks.
