I have a Yes! Natalie putter. I like it very much but i feel that my putts come short all the time, and i met a guy the other day that said he added lead tape or something to his but i wouldn't know how to do it, or where to add it, or where to get it. Will it mess up the way the putter is balanced etc?

thanks for the input

i just recently added lead tape to my putter and it has helped with getting a more rhythmic stroke with the added weight. i have a scotty cameron and i added several pieces of two inches of tape to the sole. i tried other spots but they messed up the feel. you can get it from golfgalaxy.com and just experiment with it!

The high density lead tape I purchased at Golfsmith was $6 or $7, something like that. I got the .5" size and ran two strips side-by-side along the sole of my putter. It fit perfectly; the sole on my studio design is about 1" wide.

I have an Odyssey White Hot # 9 and whenever I visit my local Golfsmith I find myself always gravitating to the putting area and hitting a bunch of putts with the Odyssey Whit Hot Rossie Blade. My question is can I add some lead tape to my #9 putter to get kind of the weight of the Rossie Blade? And if so where do I add the lead tape? I was thinking on the bottom of the head but not sure how that would effect turf contact.

For what it is worth, Phil Mickelson puts the tape across the flange evenly from front to back.  It's not pretty, but it works for him when the greens are slow.  They showed this at the Torrey Pines tournament.

So I decided to add some lead weight strips to my putter. I did not add it like the above photos show. Thank you for posting that pic glock35. For those familiar with the White Hot XG 9 I place 6 cut lead strips over the Odyssey logo on the head. I enjoyed the feel today. Will see how the longevity is in the coming weeks.
