Sore left Elbow

My Left Elbow Started getting sore about a week ago. Not too bad yet but I can feel it getting a bit worse. I'm a righty. Any advice on exercies or should i put a cold pack on it at the end of a round Advil or exercies. Any advice would be appreciated I have a tournament coming up this weekend.

Driver - Taylormade R9
3 Wood - Titlelist 909F2 15.5 degrees

2H - Nickent

4H - Taylormade
Irons - Mizuno MP-63 5-PW
Wedges - Titlelist 52 and 60 and Cleveland CG-15 56
Putter - Scotty Cameron Stainless Steel NewportBall - Pro V or V1

Are you bending your left elbow a lot?

If so I would recommend stopping that. Maybe there's some type of shock you're getting from the pressure of cocking your elbow at the ball. I've never experienced this or heard of anyone, even when I had an abominable swing.

I threw my clubs into the lake so it's time to start over...

Yeah I get that in the winter sometimes. If you hit down hard, taking a big divot, that will come up. Either way, Advil is good for swelling but for joint pain in general Alieve is the be all end all. It got me through years as a semi-pro musician with tendonitis. As for long term, if this continues, maybe consider sensicore or graphite shafts.

I think Stacey is on to something. I used to get soreness. After I was fitted with new irons with new shafts, I don't feel it anymore. This is either due to me hitting the ball better or the shock dampening of the shaft (I have no proof on this, just marketing info).
