Regarding JB Holmes, PGA Tour says:

"In only his sixth start on the PGA TOUR, J.B. Holmes won the FBR Open ----

Holmes victory was his second top-10 finish of 2006 (he tied for 10th at the Sony Open in Hawaii, the first event he played this season)."

BTW:(The same comment was made on the TV telecast.)

Since there have only been four events since his first at the SONY...

Was he playing tour events last year?
Does 'Q' School count.?

How does 6 become 4 , or 4 become 6? Is there a "Tiger" record that needs protecting?

Bury me with a golf glove in my pocket - just in case!

He played some last year, yes. Just look at the stats. And in 2003, even, in the U.S. Open.

It seems the Q-School counts as a PGA event because of the purse.

Here's another one: Any idea why Bobby Clampett is in the field at Pebble? Sponsor's exemption, maybe? (But, for a tv commentator or x-local resident?)
