Footjoy, mostly because they just seem to fit my feet best. Shoes are very specific to the end user and getting suggestions on these brands shouldn't determine what you buy. Everyone is going to like different ones and all the brands you have listed have great shoes.

I have only tried Nike's in the past and they are decent but I like the technology in my Reelfit by Footjoy shoes.

Footjoy, because they are stylish, comfortable, and your feet stay dry. I had a pair of nikes for 6 months that started falling apart, I took them back and got me a pair of dryjoy saddles. Don't be afraid to spend the extra $ for a quality shoe.

Aint that the truth!

the nikes fit my feet good, they are a narrow cut and i have narrow feet so im pretty limited when it comes so shoes.

I have a wide foot and ironically the last Nikes I had fit my feet better than any other pair I've had.

I voted Nike although my first and current pair are Adidas. And both pair were under $100 and have kept my feet dry in all conditions. There just wasn't a pair of Nikes in stock, when I last went shopping, that fit my feet. I just go with what fits my foot well. On a whole, my golf shoes always feel better than my street shoes. But Footjoys have never fit my foot well. I wish they did, but everytime I try a pair on they are uncomfortable on MY foot. Plus I look down at address and see big sharp toes sticking way the hell out there...haha

I generally have flat feet, I use orthotics in my shoes. . .I've found that my feet feel the best after 18 when I've worn the Footjoys.

They seem to have the best support out of the shoes I wear. I also have 2 pair of Adidas and a pair of Nikes I wear as well.

Footjoy.

I can wear them right out of the box and they're just as comfy as the old pair with hundreds of rounds on them that are being replaced.

Some things you just don't mess with. BTW, the good 'ole StaSoft glove is another.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

I have found Foot Joy to be the best golf shoe by far. For street shoes I prefer Cole Haan or Bruno Magli. K-Swiss for tennis and Nike for general athletic shoes.

Ecco are my favorite, as they are by far the most comfortable golf shoes I've ever had. The last few years I have had 2 pair Adidas (they are OK, but not as good as Ecco), 2 pair Footjoy (they are very comfortable, but don't seem to hold up as well as others), a pair of Callaway (which was comfortable to wear, not to walk course in) and a pair of Nike (the worst, most uncomfortable shoes I've ever owned, golf or not). Ecco are expensive but I recently got a new pair for only $99 at Golf Galaxy. My first pair was $180, which was too expensive (they were a gift). At that price, they are cheaper than other brands and more comfortable.

    • Of course. I've used different words to start, but like 90-95% of the time it's been this one. And I'm unlikely to switch now.
    • Welcome to TST @Camjr.   We're glad you've joined.
    • Angle is not a factor. I hit the ball 100’ high. Par is net birdie. My CH is 16. The rough between the bunkers is like 10’ wide though. That’s not something you’re going to try to hit on purpose. Most of the area to the left of that is fescue/native vegetation and I’m pretty sure there isn’t a flat lie in any of it. It’s the second hole.
    • Hello all.  I'm about to be 57 yrs old, started playing when I was 16, and have quit and restarted the game more times than I can count.  I had started playing a weekly round with a friend, and finally made the jump to Senior A shafted Tour Edge clubs.  Instantly gained 10 yds with an easier swing (why didn't I make that jump sooner???).  Glad to be a part of the group. Cheers all,
    • I think I like this hole.  It is a clear "Risk-Reward" choice.  Since most of the shots in your cone cleared the bunkers I would say they are a minor risk and not a big issue.  Playing the aggressive line may give you 70ish yards in from what looks to be playable rough while conservative play is 120ish from fairway.  I know you said 70 vs 120 is minor for you but how does the approach angle in impact your results?  I figure both strategies are playing for Birdie since holing out from either is mostly luck. Looking at your proximity hole I think it says @ 50 feet when hitting from the fairway from 100-150 and 40 feet if hitting 50-100 from the rough.  Neither of those is an easy birdie putt.   I like the approach angle from the rough between the bunkers & the adjacent tees over the angle from @ 120 in the fairway but I really do not like the idea of hitting onto the adjacent tee boxes and that may impact my confidence with making the shot.  Also, too far left may be a worse approach angle then from the fairway short of the bunkers. For me this may come down to how confident do I feel when I reach that tee box.  If I am stroking it well off the tee leading up to the hole I would try for over the bunkers and the better angle in but if I am struggling that day I would likely opt for the fairway to take more bad stuff out of play.
