NFL - Will the 0-11 Detroit Lions go 0-16?

With the Tennessee Titans losing to the Jets Sunday there cannot be a 16-0 team this season.
But there can be an 0-16 team, the 0-11 Detroit Lions.
The Lions remaining games:
* 11/27 vs Tennessee (10-1)
* 12/07 vs Minnesota (6-5)
* 12/14 @ Indianapolis (7-4)
* 12/21 vs New Orleans (5-5)
* 12/28 @ Green Bay (5-5)

New Orleans & Green Bay are playing each other on MNF on 11/24.

The question is - will the Detroit Lions end the season at 0-16?

well wih the titans having still such a great season. Indy having a good season and green bay, New Orleans, and Minnesota having decent, medeocre season (poor vikings)* I would say that with a record of nothing but losing it is able for them to win but likely it is not. Poor lions. They never really have a great season.

I hope not; I want them to win at least one (but probably because of strength of schedule, they need to win two) so the Chiefs at least have a chance at the #1 draft pick. Of course we have to do our job and lose the rest of our games.

I don't see the Lions winning any...

We still have the one-win Bengals in week 17

I don't think they will go 0-16. They can beat Tennessee off of their recent lose, Minnesota is a beatable team, New Orleans is a possibility, and they could be the spoiler for the NFC North. Any win will be hard fought and quite an accomplish. Good Luck to the Lions the rest of the season.

My guess is the lions will catch somebody asleep at the helm in the home stretch, they did a few years back in the same position. Having said that it will not be the Titans they they take a game from.

I wish the Chiefs had Detroit on the schedule this year! I doubt we could beat them.

That's true. My guess is the Vikings. They will have a black and blue game against another divisional co-leader & rival "da Bears" Sunday night. In the meantime the Lions will have 3 extra days to lick their wounds and man up for Minnesota. I'm gonna say they beat Minnesota at home only because the timing will be good.

I hope not. There are struggling team and I'm telling you, the last thing they needed this year was Daunte Culpepper. He's had his years way back to the golden days when he had Moss to throw to. Anyway, in my opinion they're only real chances of winning will be against the Vikings or the Saints. They won't beat the Colts @ Indiannapolis, and they won't be the Packers @ Lambeau.

Not a bad pick at all - the Lions gave the Vikings all they could handle but ended up losing 20-16.

That puts Detroit at 0-13. Next up: 12/14 - Detroit at Indianapolis.

detroit no matter what the talent pool is on their team is just horrendous from ownership front office all the way down to waterboy... the days of barry sanders are over... and even then they couldnt win... i just hope LT doesnt go that route cuz ima chargers fan :(

As an aside. The Lions have lost their Turkey Privileges. No more Lions games on Thanksgiving. Keep the Cowboys for tradition. Add the Patriots (they are pilgrim country and all)
