I'm starting to launch the ball pretty darn high. My driver launch angle was reported to be 20 degrees with my driver. I'm pretty sure 10.5 regular is too little club for me now, as my Ball speed hovers around 150-155. I've only been hitting my 3 wood like 215 which is very weak for me, but my hybrid has been going really far, I have also been hitting my irons super high, but am still playing the normal swing I have been. Too whippy of shafts, too vertical on the swing? I really don't know, but If i need to get stiffer or to like an 8.5 driver I definitely will.
Thanks guys!

And when I say super high, I mean to the point where it scrubs lots of distance. I play my 5 iron at like 175-180 and it's been going like 160-165. Help please!

I play a 10.5 degree driver and started to tee the top of my ball at the same height as the crown or top of the driver and play the ball one to two balls back in my stance and noticed a big difference in lower trejectory and more roll thus more distance.

When I buy a new driver I might consider a 9.5 but I also like to hit the driver off the deck and wonder if the 9.5 will matter.

If never tried driver off the deck, afraid i will try to like divot it and break the club. Anyway i read somewhere that putting the ball back would make your swing steeper, but I will still try that and see if it changes. Would 1 degree less of driver loft, take off 1 degree off launch angle?

next time you have a fluffy lie in the fairway on a par 5 aim slightly left of target open the club face slightly and take the club slightly outside to in with a full unforced swing and you will like the results, I have reached par 5s and long par 4 with my driver off the deck.

I also play the driver on par 3's into the wind choked up near the shaft for more control, I showed my brother this shot and he birdie the hole.

I believe its more regarding the kick point of the shaft, the higher the kickpoint the lower the ball flight and vise versa for the lower kickpoint the higher the ball flight.

What are some good high kick driver shafts?

Even if I figured out it was my swing, I still like a low ball flight. Keep in mind my Ball speed is like 150, I haven't had my ss measured, but I think its a little over 100.
