What did you guys think of Faldo and Azinger?

My quick take: Azinger was a bit dull. He didn't seem to care for Tom Lehman (calling him to lose while he was still leading the tourney), and he didn't seem to offer much insight or commentary. The only times I liked him were when he was picking on Faldo.

Faldo I enjoyed immensely. His commentary about how the lie was slightly above the player's feet on one hole, his dry Brit Wit, all good stuff.

Who watched this weekend? What did you think?

I've never been a fan of Azinger in the booth, I really think he's dull and he always seems to be trying to relate himself back into the action. It's like he doesn't want the public to forget that he's still on Tour. Although, in his defense on his premonition of Lehman's collapse, our 2006 Ryder Cup Captain does have a bit of a history of choking when the pressure's on and he performed as expected.

I really enjoyed Faldo a lot, he was very funny and added much more chemistry with Tricho than Azinger and Baker-Finch had. There were times where I felt he was a bit all over the place, but for his first time out I think he did a great job. IMHO he's got a bright future in the tower.

But I'm still holding my breath for CBS at the AT&T; when Gary McCord and David Fehrety start hamming it up. Now that's chemistry!
