I think I have the lowest launch angel in the history of golf LOL.

I went and played on a custom swing monitor as I got fitted for a new 3&5 wood and hybrid, and used a 7 iron to warm up...

Launch angel of 17*...7 iron should be around 21.

I was loving the results though, carry of 192 yards...those steroids must be working

I just thought it was interesting and thought I'd share my rare oddity.

Wow, you carry a 7 iron 192 yards. That's amazing

Fishing for compliments?

Golf is a game in which the ball always lies poorly and the player always lies well.

hmm i might be able to give u a run for ur money on that one.

i was hitting a few diff. drivers on the golfsmith launch monitor earlier this week and at first my avg. launch angle was around 7 degrees or so and i was only carrying the ball 200 yds. we made a few adjustments to my grip and got it up around 11-13 though and a carry around 220 yds. the guy said that it was still a bit low, but if it was working for me then to just stick with it till the rest of my swing comes around.

longballer, i think you might have been fishing for compliments when you claimed your driver ss was 145 mph....

LOL oh well. At least when he was a 20 handicap he averaged 350 off the tee according to him

Are you sure this wasn't just a jab at the ridiculous swing cameras they use when trying to sell you clubs and how they always overestimate distance?

lol of course the distance was over estimated. I know damn well my 7 iron doesn't go 200 unless I have a nice breeze helping it.
