I have been just at this point buying several different golf magazines from the store rack. I want to get a subscription to one of them but I can't decide which one. I am leaning toward Golf Magazine. What mags do you guys/gals like and subscribe too.

I used to subscribe at Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, Golf Tips Magazine and Travel and Leisure Golf (now defunct). Now I only subscribe to Golf Digest and think it's the best of the bunch. Tips and Mag are both good in the sense they have more 'tips', but I like the rest of the game that is better covered in Digest. I will still pick up one of the others if one of the issues looks compelling in some way, but Golf Digest is my favorite. The annual equipment issue definitely is by far the best issue of any of these magazine every year.

I've been reading Golf Digest for the past few weeks, and I enjoy it for the most part. I picked up a Golf Magazine issue at the airport a week or two ago and that wasn't too bad either. If I had to chose one though, it would be Golf Digest. Their articles seemed to fit me better and were more clear to me.

I subscribe to golf Mag. and Golf Digest, and I think that Golf Digest is far and away the best. Better writers, better equipment reviews, more touring pro contributions, etc.

I get Golf Magazine and Golf Digest and I really enjoy them both. Plus it's pretty easy to get a subscription. I think you can get a free subscription to Golf Magazine for spending $25 online at 3Balls.com and you get a free subscription to Golf Digest for spending $25 online at TGW.com

Both are pretty good and both seem pretty similar. The articles are usually the best part though most of the content on both magazines are available online.

I subscribe to Golf Digest and GOLF Magazine... both pretty close, but an edge goes to Digest. For what it's worth, I enjoy reading about most anything EXCEPT golf TIPS. I really have little to no use for quick fixes and such. For that reason, I think Golf Tips magazine sucks. Golfweek is good too, used to subscribe, but not anymore.

The amount of touring pro pieces is what made me a Golf Digest subscriber. I was however I little disappointed in last month's issue. Wasn't much in it other than that Tiger's clutch shot article.

I like GolfWorld too. Seems to cover the real nuts and bolts of golf, not just fluff articles.
