yep was pitching and had 3 line drives at me that game caught the first 2 and that one snaged me bad lol

It wouldn't matter, composite or not. Take it from a guy who pitched from the C level up to Major and back. They were hit just as hard back in the days of .50 core balls and single wall alloy bats. Today they use sh*t balls so it has calmed down a bit. The worst was when composites 1st came out and they still used good .47 and .50 core balls. Think MIKEN Ultra and Ultra II. Sorry about your luck.

Ouch! Looks like that one hurt. Sometimes bats and balls and standing in the way can lead to some nasty results. I took a cricket ball right to the shin from about 20 feet away once, cover drive right out of the middle of the bat, had a huge bump on my leg for about a month afterward. Hurt like hell too.
