I recently went in to take a look at these at my local Golf Galaxy and they didn't have a 3 or 2 hybrid. I was pretty disappointed because I wanted to buy one before my round tomorrow. I was wanting to know how these feel. I have heard that they feel pretty solid and have a nice swing weight to them as well. Anyone here have better shots with them with them? How do they play in the rough?

The Nike SQ hybrid was the first one that convinced me that there are good hybrids out there - my prior experience had been with clubs that I felt were necessary replacements for clubs that "I can't hit" (according to magazines and so on), but weren't clubs I liked.

My first round with the SQ in the bag, my first swing with it (hadn't even hit it on the range) and I hit it to 3 feet and nail the putt for birdie. I've loved it ever since, and it has produced its share of good shots.

I'm fine with it in the rough. It's certainly a lot better than my long irons from the rough used to be.

I've hit one on golf galaxy before and didn't rrlly like it, felt like I was hitting the ball with. piece of wood. Try out the g10 hybrid, its a thing of beauty once you hit it.

I got rid of my Sumo SQ hybrids (and fairway woods) for my Wilson Fybrid hybrids and fairway woods, and I much prefer the Wilsons. From what I recall reading over the years, the Sumo SQ hybrids have not been viewed all that positively. I think there are much better hybrids out there, whether the Wilsons, Ping G series, Cobra Bafflers, etc.

I have both the 3 and 5 SQ Sumo hybrids and love them, wouldn't swap them for anything.
I had a Baffler and one or two Adams hybrids and hated all of them especially the Baffler.
