Anyone play these? what would be a reasonable price for a set that's in good shape, and would these be considered "difficult" to hit? It's been years since I've played Blades, but the set is in great shape and I'd love to have them to practice within and potentially move into as my game get's better.

Bingo. My buddy has them and you can tell when you miss the sweet spot. Ive seen them sold on ebay for less than $200.

I've been looking at this set as well and $200-$250 is what I've been seeing them at as well.

What are the difference between the 690 and 710MB? Would the 735 be a better option?

I pulled the trigger on these this morning. Gave $100 and an old odyssey putter for them, and they are in fantastic shape. Can't wait to get to the range with them.

That seems a fair deal.  I just picked up a set of 3i-PW 695 CBs in good, but not pristine, condition for $200.  The PGA blue book site for used clubs put those from $189-$235 or so, depending on condition (for retail value).  I haven't hit the MBs, but my CBs are actually much less hard to hit than you might think for a forged club without a huge cavity.  You can tell more when you miss the sweet spot, but generally mine still come off pretty nice and I just lose a little distance.

Don't know what your lofts were on your old clubs, but the 695s at least are very strongly lofted (3i is 20˚, PW is 46˚), and it's taken me a while to get used to the new distances and trajectories.  Something to look into at least if you haven't already.  I could use a gap wedge now between my 54˚ and my 46˚ PW, as a full swing with my PW now goes 135-140 but my 54˚ sill goes 110-115.

Been playing my 690.MB Titleist forged blades almost 10 years now. I've never played a club that made me want to switch all these years, and I am always tinkering with trying out folks irons at the club. The only concern I have is worn grooves after all these years. I may get fitted for some new ones soon, but playability is not a factor at all.
